German call for headscraves ban is a perfect example of the contradictions inherent to secularism.

had no influence on europe or the world in any way. Name me a single aspect in italian culture influenced from it.

Who cares about influence in Europe or Italian culture, you said this

big words coming from someone whose ancestors are non existant in history.

I corrected your dumb statement, also The Mughal empire had a huge effect on current day India, this had nothing to do with the influence on foreign cultures, thats like me asking what was the influence of rome on current day Indonesia and then judging it on what it influenced in a land they had no contact with.

History does not revolve around Europe and neither does it revolve around rome, grow up and realize that the place you are born in is the not the most important place in the world.

Indonesia uses the political system (Republic) created by the roman empire. Uses it letters, its internal structure and words.

I said Rome not Roman ideas especially roman ideas that were heavily changed and spread by America and not Italy or Rome so it did contribute nothing, also how does Indonesia use your letters, internal structures or words?

@MarkusS I think you were refering to quranic verse Q9:29

Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book (Christians and Jews), until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjugation.

https://prophetrejectors.wordpress.com/929-at-tauba-of-quran-doesnt-encourage-muslims-to-terrorism/

This explains it pretty perfectly

P.S please keep in mind that you are pretty much derailing the thread with your buddy markus so please stop.

I have read quran, and perhaps a lot of different explanations from different scholars.

The correct intent can not be gauge with just a verse but need an understanding of whole para. Q9:5 is as much controversial as it looks, going through Q9:1 to further can give you multiple points to claim otherwise, but let the reader be the judge on its own and not advocates who play with words.

For me subjugating and treating as a second class citizen just to provide an incentive to dhimmis to convert is a bit gruesome.

In fact, what could be socially acceptable than can not be acceptable now, thus I dont concur with word to word implementation of those verses now.

Did you seriously not read the website? ughhhhhhhhhh Why do I even bother?

Also please don't pretend like you read the Quran

Jizya was not a bad thing nor did it mean the non-muslims were 2nd class citizens, Jizya is simply a state tax for an Islamic state not secular countries or regular muslims.

2nd, Jizya usually meant that non-muslims couldn't be conscripted into the military but Muslims had to.

Historically, the Jizya tax has been understood in Islam as a fee for protection provided by the Muslim ruler to non-Muslims, for the exemption from military service for non-Muslims, for the permission to practice a non-Muslim faith with some communal autonomy in a Muslim state, and as material proof of the non-Muslims' submission to the Muslim state and its laws.

3rd, Jizya was usually a very small tax usually 2-3% the same amount of percent a muslim had to pay to the less privileged/poor from their income(this was mandatory for all muslims) therefore they were on Equal footing.

The application of jizya varied in the course of Islamic history. Together with kharaj, a term that was sometimes used interchangeably with jizya,[21][22][23] taxes levied on non-Muslim subjects were among the main sources of revenues collected by some Islamic polities.[which?][24] Jizya rate was usually a fixed annual amount depending on the financial capability of the payer.[25] Sources comparing taxes levied on Muslims and jizya differ as to their relative burden depending on time, place, specific taxes under consideration, and other factors.[26][not in citation given][1][27][28][29]

4th, Jizya isn't an incentive for more converts, Women, children, elderly, sick, poor, blind and so on were exempt from the tax.

"Jizya or jizyah (Arabic: جزية‎‎ ǧizyah IPA: [dʒizja]; Ottoman Turkish: جزيه/cizye) is a per capita yearly tax historically levied by Islamic states on certain non-Muslim subjects—dhimmis—permanently residing in Muslim lands under Islamic law.[1][2][3] Muslim jurists required adult, free, sane males among the dhimma community to pay the jizya,[4] while exempting women, children, elders, handicapped, the ill, the insane, monks, hermits, slaves,[5][6][7][8][9]and musta'mins—non-Muslim foreigners who only temporarily reside in Muslim lands.[5][10] Dhimmis who chose to join military service were exempted from payment,[1][6][11][12][13] as were those who could not afford to pay.[6][14][15]"

You can hate on muslims but at least do so correctly and not on bullshit assumptions.
