Its some what similar logic for NS and type. To NS he gets energized by hearing about new and ultra expensive things he doesn't have and gets excited when he remembers he wouldn't have to spend his own money to get the item but country's.

A journalist once asked him, do you not get tired of hearing complaints from your people that while you are on expensive trips and dining out in other countries, your people barely are making it through the day. Kids in Thar are dying of thirst!

He pulls out a picture of 500,000 pounds watch and tells him. Why must I feel left behind when all other corrupt leaders across the nation and world have the newer model and here I am stuck with last month's model?

People make institutions

Let's not be personality specific.
Army institution was there before gen. Shareef and it will be there after him also.
No one is indispensable

And the point is that do not praise him too much??
Same institution has been led by Ayub, Yahya, Zia, Musharaf, Kyani to name a few. Note the difference?
