Featured General Qamar Javed Bajwa to visit Saudi Arabia next week

He’s visiting the crown prince. The prince isn’t coming to him. Neither is their chief traveling to Pak. All optics of this are against us. Specially with KSA pulling back their funds.

That said, KSA has every right to take care of their strategic interests.

KSA stepped back on FATF and let us get on the gray list and right now, their interests align with those of India. If Pakistan is too economically weak to take care of its interests. Then it’ll put up with whatever is sent its way.

Hai Jurm-e-Zaeefi Ki Saza Marg-e-Mafajat!

“Yes he is travelling,” Pakistan army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar told Reuters, though the official line was that the visit was pre-planned and “primarily military affairs oriented.”

now we know using the occasion many other things will be discussed.

India does not have a very deep clout as of yet with the PUPPET regimes, its Uncle Sam pulling the strings. The US uses these regimes to bring forth Chaos and political maneuvering in Pakistan. The nature of US and Arab relationship is of Petro dollars and Scaremongering. The US used them to pump Saddam and fight the Mullahs of Iran and later the US winked Saddam to takeover Kuwait. And again US used their money to takeover Iraq and get rid of Saddam. The Arabs are HAPLESS puppets knowing well what can happen to them if they speak out . The US shale reserves and lithium powered energy is enough to starve them .Moreover the fate of the late King Faisal and recently Morsi is a reminder to them of the consequences they can face if they dont TOE THE LINE.

Sir you hit the nail. The context of China Iran deal is very important in this regard as well. China understands very well what is going on hence the loan in just a matter of days. The block that is forming is against the interest of Gulf, India and USA.
Who ever is managing the gulf states behind the scenes but what they want is to silence Pakistan on Kashmir issue, prop up India, blackmail and apply pressure on Pakistan financially as Pakistan is dependant on gulf for remittances and loan it took. CPEC, China Pak relations and China Iran deal is the target.

most of the saudi apologists have an excuse of loans and money and remittances

i dont know what this money would be worth in a decade or so if wars break out or markets collapse..
the real money is
technology
data
strategic weapons
skilled human resource.
precious metals.
This money matters now thats why we keep running to them and ask for it .:we might have been declared defaulter nation as per government
For future I don’t know

Our relationship with KSA is here to stay. but maybe not with MBS..
MBs will define the relation of KSa if he stays ..Qatar was more close to Ksa in every term and more of a brother ..but now otherwise..
All this will be clear if we stand on what SMq says and call our own meeting with like minded nation ..which Pakistan won’t do now

If a meeting with the King and Prince was requeted by Ambassador then COAS will go, but we did not run to them first, the ambassador turned u at GHQ a day after FM statement.

Ultimately the proof is in the pudding. If we get an OIC meeting on Kashmir we would have won this round. Time will tell on this issue, not forum posts....

The invite to Sushma Sawaraj wasn’t rescinded and we opted to sit out of OIC meeting. I’m not which world we are living in. :)

If KSA deosnt give.. we can arrange it from elsewhere....we are not dependent one party however we are grateful they helped us back then..

Pakistan's economical woes were all manipulated, they(US) wanted us to be dependent on them financially so that they can dictate their terms . The Arabs showered dollars and so did their financial institutions, make it look they are helping us. The shocking bit for me is that everything was happening under our Establishments nose. We even facilitated their handy men BAKIR and HAFEEZ SHEIKH who had disastrous experiences in the past. To cut story short we just got trampled in a fight between two elephants. For Pakistan we feel the time tested alliances with China and Turkey is our future. Hopefully other nations will join this block. In future the PUPPET regimes of the Arab states will be toppled with genuine peoples representatives. The armed forces of these countries need to be purged, eight years ago in Egypt Morsi installed the seed of his demise.

Sir the economic woes were self created by traitorous policies of import oriented artificial growth and over valued rupee. We faced imminent bankruptcy and FATF in 2018. We could not sustain a deficit of 20 billion dollars, loan repayments and interests with 8 billion dollars in reserves. Hence the rush to Saudi and UAE and IMF in 2018. What 20 billion deficit means is we are spending 20 billion more than we are earning add to this the climbing principal and interest payment. That's how much we needed to borrow to make our ends meet.
From a macro economic perspective we are in a far better position now as compared to 2018, though this stability came at a steep cost. We self engineered this debt trap ourselves especially from 2016-18. The concern regarding the economy was very evident in the military during this period, even a layman can predict how this bubble will explode.
If I remember correctly during Musharraf period when Hafeez Sheikh was finance minister our economy was not this much desperate. They are not IMF agents but by the blessing of state institutions, to make sure the hard decisions that are needed are taken.
IMF is just a very mean bank which people who don't know how to manage their income have to go otherwise the alternate is the street.

With or without MBS ..Ksa has more influence then Pakistan ..that’s why we requesting them ..

I do not think you can look at "the Muslim World" as one monolithic structure anymore, much more complicated that that. Does Saudi have more influence then Pak in GCC and poor Muslim countries? Yes, its location and money ensure that, but in places like Syria, Libya, Turkey, Qatar, Iran, Malaysia and perhaps increasingly Pakistan, Saudi influence is on the wane......

Pakistan has no role in even Syria ,
Libya while KSA might have negative or positive is another debate ..
Pakistan only influence is in Afghanistan .. we Pakistanis tend to exaggerate our influence ..we can call other memebers of OIC might be they are 50 in numbers but we don’t have influence

You are missing the point, I am not comparing Pak influence to Saudi influence (although in the case of Qatar, Turkey, Iran and Malaysia I would argue Pak has much more influence), I am saying much of the Muslim world can happily ignore the Saudis
