Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

. . .
If partial hostages are released like women & Children in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, Hamas will still retain hostages and have peace. Otherwise, they can continue this war until Hezbollah joins. Too bad Muslim Brotherhood ended their armed wing. However, they fought in the 1973 or 67 war against Israel as volunteers.. There are tribal militants in the Sinai who might be willing to join the war against Israel.
Thanks God the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't have weapons, they would have turned Egypt into a shithole extremist islamist country. Tribal militants in Sinai are supported by the Egyptian Army.

Netanyahu remarks were largely for domestic audience

We didn't get much of a steer from Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu about the potential hostage deal - in those words he delivered a short time ago.

I think that's because they've had the war cabinet, the political cabinet and now they're having the wider government meeting. That's anything of up to 40 people who would vote on the details of this deal, including on a ceasefire and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

What we heard from Netanyahu was a pre-recorded statement made before the wider meeting began. He basically had two messages:
  1. He addressed claims in Israel (he called them nonsense) that the war could stop because of this possible deal. This was particularly aimed at those further to his right in the Israeli coalition and their supporters. Netanyahu said adamantly that the war would go on after a pause in fighting to get hostages out
  2. The other thing he said was that in the last few days he had spoken to US President Joe Biden. He said he put it to Biden to get a better deal for Israel at a lower cost, which he claimed he achieved
So, some revelations from him - I think largely for domestic consumption, to counter attacks from those further right of him politically. But what we don't have yet is confirmation of the contours of this deal.

A slight shift away from Israel even in Col. Macgregor's narrative. Here is a personal note about 'the but narrative'! If you follow the '... but ...' way people appear 'balanced' for 'ratings' or not to be 'cancelled' reasons, then you'd notice there is now more of 'the but narrative' about supporting Israel even by Col. Macgregor.

The more the people find resonance of their views in the growing, global anti-Israel narratives, the more they would use the 'but' way to present their views. On October 6, people were too afraid to use the 'Zionist' word, let alone the 'J' word, but no more the fear of using those words--except in MSM--and not much fear left of 'Anti-semitism'. And, again, the pro-Israel, fake crocodile tears 'balanced' voices in this thread are also less now --no one wants to be on the losing side of a war, even if in a war of narratives!

This video by Col. Macgregor again mentions the role of Pakistan's nukes--as help to Turkey. He and some Western analysts keep bringing up Pakistani nukes in this very global conflict--a conflict which, unlike the Russia-Ukraine conflict, has riled up countries and their politicians in all continents of the world in mostly pro-Palestinian ways.

Don't really trust the Egyptian MB, I remember they were calling for holy war in Syria when they were in power, which lead to Syrian destruction. Groups like MB and others are either political immature or agents. The Syrian and Libya war were 100% foreign funded regime change operations and MB, HT, the jihadis played a major role as mercenaries.
