ANKARA (Reuters): Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday Israel was a “terror state” committing war crimes and violating international law in Gaza, while repeating his view that Palestinian militant group Hamas was not a terrorist organization.

Speaking to lawmakers in parliament, Erdogan also called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to announce whether Israel had nuclear bombs or not, and added that the Israeli premier was a “goner” from his post.

He said Hamas was a political party that had been elected by Palestinians.

Israel appears not to have much to show for its Al-Shifa operation​

After besieging and then storming the largest hospital in Gaza, Israel doesn’t have too much to show for its efforts. This controversial operation – which provoked international criticism – did not net a major arsenal of weapons. Unless Israel has more to reveal.

The video material released by Israel so far tonight shows about a dozen old assault rifles – neatly laid out on a carpet.

There are a few bullet proof vests, three hand grenades, some CDs, a handgun, a laptop, a rucksack, and a few knives.

It didn’t look sufficient for a "command centre" but Israel claims Hamas was running one in a labyrinth beneath Al-Shifa hospital.

The Shifa hospital and all facilities in northern Gaza are to be made non functional so that Israelis can occupy northern Gaza--and that will very likely be Israel's 'Mission Accomplished' and call for a ceasefire.

This resolution was passed but Israel is not honoring it.

Pakistan took 20 years of America-backed global blame and abuse over Pakistan's policy on Afghanistan, and Pakistan suffered a lot due to sponsored and indigenous terroristm during those two decades, but Pakistan held a 'long view' of the situation. BTW, those who think that the Afghan Taliban coming to power in Afghanistan is bad for Pakistan are wrong: It is best that Afghans be ruled by forces who are only beholden to their own country and not to some foreign powers. The issues between Pakistan and Afghanistan will be sorted out in time because they just have to.
