Israeli ambassador Dana Erlich “should no longer enjoy diplomatic status in Ireland," Sinn Fein party leader Mary Lou McDonald said on Friday. McDonald’s party, which has deep historical ties to the Palestinian cause, has repeatedly condemned Israel’s bombardment of Gaza.
"[The Israel Defence Forces] are engaged in a ferocious military offensive against a civilian population; breaking international law by targeting civilians, destroying civilian infrastructure, forcing mass population displacement and cutting off vital supplies of water, food, medicines and fuel,” McDonald told reporters.
Erlich’s presence in Ireland has become “untenable,” McDonald continued, adding that the ambassador should “no longer enjoy diplomatic status in Ireland while Israel refuses the imperative for ceasefires and as the suffering and death toll grow.”

You’re either with us or Hamas – Israel

Earlier on Friday, McDonald discussed the conflict with diplomats from Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Israel’s embassy in Dublin criticized the Sinn Fein leader for not inviting Erlich to the meeting, accusing her of “only [seeking] to isolate Israel, rather than offer a forum for constructive engagement.”
“To exclude Israel from such a forum is quite telling of Sinn Fein’s position on the conflict,”
the embassy said in a statement.
Sinn Fein is Ireland’s most popular political party, with a 13-point lead on its closest rival, the centrist Fine Gael. Sinn Fein is excluded from power, however, by a coalition agreement between Fine Gael and historical rivals Fianna Fail, as well as the Green Party.
As the former political wing of the Irish Republican Army (IRA), Sinn Fein’s support for the Palestinian cause is long-standing. The party’s supporters, particularly in Northern Ireland, view their own struggle against British colonialism as analogous to the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation. While the IRA has laid down its arms, Sinn Fein has remained in contact with Hamas; former party leader Gerry Adams met with Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza in 2009, while McDonald hosted an online conference with the militant group’s foreign relations head, Dr Basem Naim, in 2020.

Sinn Fein “will never rule out meeting or talking to anybody, because that doesn’t serve any purpose” in securing peace in the Middle East, the party’s foreign affairs spokesman, Matt Carthy, said last month.
Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has adopted a more neutral stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict, declaring on Friday that Israel “has a right to defend itself [and] has the right to go after Hamas, so they can not do this again.” Varadkar also condemned Israel’s response to Hamas’ October 7 attack, stating that it “isn't just self-defense, it resembles something more approaching revenge.”
Ireland voted last month for a UN resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, and opposed a now-scrapped EU plan to suspend aid payments to the enclave. However, Varadkar told reporters on Friday that he is "not sure [the Israelis] listen very closely to what we have to say, quite frankly."

Very brave and great opportunities to destroy armour, but these RPG's are firecrackers and just bounce off the armour. This much is clear from what the videos show and what hey dont show.
Rear hit with tandem RPG round, is minimum 500mm penetration on RHA. A rear shot, which is visibly seen is a guaranteed kill on any amour. Even side shot close to the rear where armor is thin is sufficient.

interior of the vehicle can be damaged, enough possibly to disable, and some crew members may be killed and injured. That this point it's more luck based

As I said, the IDF is terrible and incompetent on the ground. How do you send tanks and APCs without infantry support? Especially when you know your enemy has no tanks but just light infantry? How would the IDF do against a regular land army? The only thing they can do it bomb from the skies, but as time progresses these jets will also not be safe. Today their famous MERKAVA is not effective, tomorrow it will be their American supplied jets.
True, but some of the tanks may be remote controlled and used a bait to flush the RPG teams out. As you can see the RPG's are totally ineffective against even the IFV's.

When you have no choice but fight until the end you will grow unimaginable bravery. The resistance knows if the IDF advances their homes, families will be lambs to sacrifice. This awakens something in a person where they accept they are already dead. This is a common thing throughout similar conflicts. The Bosniaks did the same fighting the Serbs, Croats at the same time under an arms embargo, you know if they pass your home/family is dead.
It's a great motivator, and people who were very reluctant to fight showed the greatest bravery. Our government was very clever and knew how to motivate Bosnians. We are hard to motivate.

Even today people tell me, if there is a war, I am going to Munich on day one. lol, yeah right, I say they better go now because if there is a war no one is going anywhere and government will motivate you very quickly.

Can Yasin-105 penetrate tank armour? It seems like they are immobilising the tanks, not destroying/penetrating it. If Hamas had some good anti-tank weapons like Hizbullah, the Israeli casualties would be 10x.
Yasin 105 is a total letdown. I think they will get some better rockers by the time the next war comes. You could achieve more with a well placed drone at these distances.

The Irish have and are strong supporters of the Palestinian people. Has something to do with
Their own history and how they were oppressed in the past.
Thank yo Ireland for calling it out for what it really is -

From my study of Islamic prophecies all the events leading to the coming of Mahdi have happened except the death of a king and a 3-way civil war for power in Saudi Arabia. Every time a king of SA dies various scholars predict the coming of the Mahdi but there’s never been a fight for power.

Once the civil war starts there will be bloodshed during Haj and the Mahdi will be found during Muharram. The next Haj is in June and Muharram in July 2024.

If we see civil war breaking out in SA we need to get ready for major events to happen very quickly after that.
The conquest of Jerusalem happens before the Mahdi comes. Jerusalem is already liberated by the Black Banners of Khurasan before the Mahdi’a arrival.

(Black banners are a reference to the Iranian forces obviously, some sectarian haters say it’s the Afghan taliban but unless you are an absolute insane moronic person you can’t rely on the 8th mechanised Donkey infantry armoured division of the taliban army to conquer anything.

So the Hadith is an obvious reference to the only capable fighting force in Khurasan which is the Iranian armed forces). But yeah the one with the three prince fighting will either be during the death of the current king or wen the Clown Prince comes to power.

Hezbollah and the forces under the Iranian axis will be the ones to liberate Palestine inshaAllah. That’s from a ration point of view.

Stop lying shithead. Israeli forces shot them. Already almost 50% of the northern population fled. Others simply aren't leaving their homes and not going to be ethnically cleansed. There's absolutely zero witness reports from Gaza corroborating your Twitter propaganda garbage that that Iranian propagandist posted.

Israel was in control of the road and shot at people fleeing. We also have a video of your tanks literally shooting at civilians trying to flee. Your proof is a tweet from a pro-Israeli propagandist. Meanwhile we have literal visual evidence of the events and reports Israeli forces were in control of this area the whole time.

They are doing everything they accused Hamas of doing on Oct 7. Only difference is: they have no evidence of their claim while evidence exists (here) of their own doing.

I said this before, this is a Anglo-Saxon strategy: blame the victim for the crimes committed by self.

.
If a ceasefire actually happens, it would be a victory for Hamas and the Palestinians.

For Israel, it was an absolute failure

Because in the future, Hamas could repeat similar attacks and then it would end with a ceasefire.

It creates a never-ending loop.

Who is Yahya Sinwar Hamas leader in Gaza.

This person actually did 5 life sentences in Israeli prison , for murdering palestinians not Israelis.

He had a reputation for torturing people je suspected of collaborating , which gave him the nickname , the butcher of khan yunis.

While in prison he was actually treated for brain cancer and having his life saved by Israel , before being released in the shalit deal.

Torturing Palestinians? Hahahh

Yahya removed spies and double/triple agents from ranks of Hamas and Gaza as a whole. He is a cleaner, his power was the reason why Israelis could not even guess when Hamas was going to attack. Sinwar's unmatched capability of recognizing traitors and sellouts will always toture Israelis and spies. Apply burnol
