Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Oh my goodness, listen to this genius doomsday plan. Ooof.

And may I add that God help us all we never have to live long enough to witness the likes of this young generation occupying any form of political power where they can affect the likes of doomsday decisions like the ones we just read. In all honesty, I'm ashamed that even came from my own countryman. If that's what we have to look forward to, we don't stand a chance and I hope I'm not around when the time comes.

What we need today are the likes of people like John F. Kennedy, Mahatma Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, Anwar Sadat, Abraham Lincoln and so on. The true heroes and advocates of peace. Heroes who had the courage to go to war to achieve peace without destroying the world. This young generation is so far removed from that noble concept it's as sad as it is frightening for the prospect of our children's future.
I think it is the hormones and not the brain that is doing such writing. Some folks who don't know how to fix a breakfast without assistance can expound at length on complicated international strategic issues like who should start a war with whom, when to use nukes etc., May be by watching too many gory action movies. Even a President of ours said he gets his knowledge of military by "Watching Shows".

Obviously, there will be consequences, that is where the resolve comes in, which they don't have. The objective would be a sovereign Palestinian state on '67 border, Palestine compensated for lost territory of '48, Palestinian right of return to Israel with Palestinian citizenship. Likewise, Israelis can live in Palestine. That was the original idea behind partition, but they much rather slaughter each other, and I believe whole scale terror was begun by Jews. These guys were prepped with terror and nationalist ideologies, totalitarianism, fascism and communism.
'48 and '67 are too ancient to be of much use. Probably the best hope is to revive the 1993 Oslo process in some form and bring enough international pressure on all sides to force it to success and provide some guarantees and verifiable means like the SALT and START treaties between U.S. and USSR.

An old video - but highlights the racism and hatred in the Apartheid Zionist regime. The open execution order Zionist army has in place at all times against Palestinian civilians. And we see Hasbara trolls and Indian bootlickers here putting IDF on pedestal.

A must watch if anyone wants to get the perspective of a person who has seen both sides.

Hamas at one point was okay with a 2 state solution with the 1967 borders in place.

Israel kept building illegal settlements in the West Bank.

Hamas position makes sense up to the 1967 borders part but not the entirety of it.

My response to OP was in the context of how it was framed. One needs to go back in time to understand broader realities of the region but some will not like the answers. The (ill-advised) Arab - Israel War in 1948 concluded with Israeli victory and Palestinian Muslims loosing a chunk of their lands to Israel in the process:

As you can see, this war had damaged Palestinian cause.

From victory, comes the entitlement to do whatever you want to in the lands under your control (figuratively speaking). Israel had won the war and began to reshape regional demographics at some point.

US attempted to solve this issue with Oslo Accords in the 1990s that allowed PLO to recover and take control of some of the lands that were lost to Israel in war before.

Hamas was founded by the followers of Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood in 1987 and took control of Gaza in 2007 by force:

Hamas has been in power in the Gaza Strip since 2007 after a brief war against Fatah forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

Hamas might be popular in Gaza but it seems to have no solution.

I am not excusing Netanyahu in this matter either - this man is a Zionist supremacist and is complicit in expanding Israeli settlements at the expense of Palestinian locals. Netanyahu uses Hamas as an excuse to do his bidding.

So what is the solution in your view? What shall be done? Can you bring both to the negotiation table now?

If these people want to fight and settle this matter in this manner, so be it.

It was the same Arrogance of the Jews that anger the Almighty, and now the same arrogance is back, the lady say " We are the center of the world now ", Lady you have not read the history of your own people, what lies ahead for you should terrify you.
They have forgotten already what was done to them:-

Seriously dude? Are you a jew in disguise or pehaps an Indian? The Arabs (who were oppressed under colonial rule) attempted to respond to the flagrant ethnic cleansing instigated by theoverly well armed British Military sponsored terrorists, again it was a one sided battle and the outcome was predictable. They fought (unsuccessfully) against colonial expansion and Britain laid the seed for the horrors today.
This type of allegation does not help a discussion. Provide proof of your claims. I have touched upon this topic before and have posted multiple references to explain what happened in the region on a broader level. Here is but a part of broader history. I do not feel the need to re-type details again and again for potential readers again and again. Use search function to dig out information.

Palestine is not "my" problem. I am concerned about Pakistani issues in large part. Here on PDF, my responsibility is to Moderate threads and not partake in ideological warfare.

It is not necessary for me to be on the same page with every Muslim out there on every matter whatsoever. I will base my opinion on what I have read. I believe in research, not in rhetoric.

Then you don't know the concept of Jihad in Islam.
Do you want to start a debate on Jihad? Or does this discussion forum allow such a debate?
honestly your understanding of the jihad concept is a little flawed

Exactly what the world thought until the Nazi racism and bombs fell on them. Short sightedness is what lead the world to a war apocalypse to over 100 million dead. Today's short sightedness could lead to billion deaths and no one black or brown or non Anglo-Saxon will be immune to this Nazi Zion ideology of supremacy. It's a war to maintain racial privilege and those who appease only have a momentary grace.

Israel returned Sinai to Egypt and made peace with it - this development shows that Israel can co-exist with its neighbors peacefully. I doubt that Israel would like to start a war that would lead to billions of deaths. You can condemn Israel for encroaching on Palestinian lands (absolutely fair), but try to read history first. Otherwise what is difference between one of those Egyptian Brotherhood guys and you?
