They're copying NATO tactics. War is all about resources and geography. Gaza is too small and lacks resources and weapons supply. It can't go up against NATO unlimited weapons supply and funding. Israel gets no credit at all from me. It's entirely dependent on US military support and funding. Some like to suggest US is holding it back, I'd beg to differ.

Any house targeted in Gaza is a military target to you. According to your logic, every house in Israel is also a military target. Since you provide no evidence of anything to prove those tens of thousands of homes targeted in Gaza have 'military value'. If Israel is committing no war crimes then Hamas as well has committed zero war crimes, according to your reasoning.

I do not claim that any specific house attacked has a military value.

After an investigation, to prove a war crime, the investigators have to prove that the attacker has an intent to attack a target without a military value.
It does not matter if the target has a military value or not. What matters is the information available to the attacker. If a competent military officer believes it has a military value, it is not a war crime.

It is not a matter of tit for tat. If Hamas attacks a civilian house in Israel, they must have reliable information that it is used for military purposes, or it is a war crime.
