Just when Gaza are burning, ours is opening a church saying Lâ ilâhe illallah, Ibrahim halîlullah... (This expression has a very important and meaningful place in the Turkish history of Palestine. It was written on the doors of mosques, synagogs and churches in Quds for centuries.) It's really very interesting, I've never heard any PM or president use it before, it was a historical expression.

Like I said, Israel is going to fight Hamas from a distance. They are never going to defeat Hamas in Gaza, and Hamas has zero chance outside Gaza. The population in Gaza is going to suffer tremendously because of this, and in a couple of months this conflict is still at status quo.

You don't win a war because you need to, and this war, unless you are really naive, there are a lot less chance that Palestinian can win over this.

I can think of a few thing that would mean trouble for China if China support the Palestinian.......aka Taiwan.

And Russia has increasingly become non-factor, which mean everything China do need to be done alone. You need don't need to be a genius to figure out there are a lot more blowback for China if they chose to do it now, not when Palestinian are associated with Hamas.

I can go out and say **** (any country) but if i say **** (Israel) than I am anti semetic, and needs to be cancelled and my life destroyed ? no resolution to condemn Israel action goes before USA veto's it why ? they (USA) govt didn't even condemn when a Press TV American reporter with Palestinian origin was shot dead in Israel by IDF, that's fcuked up.

If you look at Ukraine war, Usa, Europe are openly funding and giving weapons to Ukraine but none of Russia ally dares to support it. China is a close ally but still will not officially support Russia. Just shows the power of Usa and allies. Against Israel noone dares to back Palestinians with funds and weapons. If Israel is in trouble Usa will join the war on behalf for Israel. Israel is their daddy.

The outcome looks very grim. No wonder the Americans are racing with their fleet...

But, to be specific, from my reading of the Bible, Abraham was promised land to the Jews but the land was NOT empty!! There is no hard and fast criteria for who belong and where--how far will we go back to??!! 50 years? 500 years? 5000 years? to claim some land??!

People here who are saying, that this will hurt Palestinian cause more are saying it for a reason. Yes they suffered, and yes Israel has blood on its hands. But then when did powerful countries pay? Hasn't it been the truth through history?

Don't you know the history of the Jewish people in exile for a millenia? Don't you know that they too fought against hard odds under occupations? So why despair for the Palestinians?? If the Jews refused to be boot-polishers or Muslims or Christians for a millenia then why should the Palestinians not have the same option now??

But now,we see once again the face of this..."resistance". Plain and simple terrorists.

Yes, Palestinians in Gaza did that as did other resistance groups throughout human history when they perceived some of their own as 'traitors'. I suspect some of you Greeks did that too during your War of Independence against the Turks before the First World War.
But in case you want to pursue this 'logic': Why is the West Bank erupting for 'Hamas' right now?? It is because there is no strategic differences between the goals of Fatah and Hamas. They are the same entity and your Divide and Conquer strategy or the Rodney King Crocodile Tears of 'Why can't we all get along' are not going to work.
