We can assume the worst, that the captives are immediately spread out throughout the Gaza area, making finding them practically impossible.

These captives, specifically women, were not captured to secure any kind of deal but to humiliate Israel. They will be sexually abused and their torture will be posted on the internet. In any civilization, humiliating the women is the worst thing you can do. The cruel calculus is that the adults know their fates are sealed, all of them will die, but the children will not know and their suffering will inflict the most pain to Israel, which is what Hamas wanted when they killed and abducted some children. This harsh reality is also realized by the other ME countries and that is why none of them will stop Israel in Gaza.

We will likely see Americans finding money for both Israel and Ukraine somehow. I expect the Ukraine war to go on for a long period, far past 2024. Only saving grace may be Trump becoming president again and somehow stopping it. He has a great aversion for spending American money outside and seems to like Putin somehow.

I am not expecting anything, neither do I like him very much.

That guy has a great deal of love for money. His primary goal is to bring in as much money into USA as possible, through trade etc. His other goal is to not spend American money outside that doesn't benefit America in his opinion. Example, He wanted to cut funding in NTAO and wanted the European allies to contribute more, he wanted to pull the troops out of Afghanistan because he thought money was being wasted there. I expect him to think the money spent on supporting Ukraine is a waste and Ukraine can go fvck themselves and he doesn't care.
