Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky accuses Russia of supporting Hamas in its conflict against Israel.

“We are certain that Russia is supporting, in one way or another, Hamas operations,” Zelensky says in an interview with the France 2 television channel. “Russia is really trying to carry out destabilizing actions all over the world.”

Zelensky also says the violence engulfing Israel and Gaza risks distracting international attention from the war in his own country.
“There is a risk that international attention will turn away from Ukraine, and that will have consequences,” he says.

The tragedies affecting his Ukraine and Israel “are different, but both are immense,” he says.

Russia is highly unlikely in supporting anything here. They were once powerful country got bitten by ego of their leader. That is difference between powerful and successful nation and failed state and third world countries. Look at leadership , is Obama billionaire after 8 years of presidency or any of his secretaries made millions and millions.. naah same applies to many first world countries. Where as in countries like India , even city corporate becomes millionaire in two years.. state ministers makes in tune of few 10s of millions. Same case with Pakistan or BD and with Russia. Putin bought corruption at all levels of government. See state of their army. We are destined for failure unless public does not change their perception about being abolition of power. Hamas leadership is also no different here
