Nasrallah says Oct. 7 assault ‘100% Palestinian,’ Hezbollah knew nothing about it​

Making his first speech since the Israel-Hamas broke out following the Palestinian terror group’s October 7 onslaught, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah says the Lebanese terror group knew nothing about the assault ahead of time.

“The October 7 operation was planned in total secrecy, even other Palestinian factions were not privy to it, let alone resistance movements abroad,” Nasrallah says.

“The international community keeps bringing up Iran and its military plans, but the October 7 attack was a 100% Palestinian operation, planned and executed by Palestinians for the Palestinian cause, it has no relation at all to any international or regional issues.”

Hamas and the Iranian government are close allies.

It is highly unlikely that Iran did not know about Hamas's plans or that Hamas could freely carry out such a large operation without Iran's consent or approval.

The Iranian government has provided Hamas with financial, military, and political support for many years. Iran has also trained Hamas militants and helped them to develop their rocket arsenal. In recent years, Iran has also become more involved in the internal affairs of the Gaza Strip, providing Hamas with political advice and support.

He would not say escalation but he made it obvious this is legitimate fight that every Arab and Muslim must take part. I think it is obvious, buy how much they would engage, it remains to be seen. He put the pressure on the Americans and the West to put an end to the war against Gaza.

A few hours before the speech, the chief of staff of the Israeli organization announced that if Hezbollah declared war, they would attack them with an unprecedented amount of firepower. While this speech was being made, people were waiting in the square in Lebanon for Nasrallah's speech. In this case, every word said except a single sentence will be completely overshadowed by the statement of the Israeli chief of staff.

Hezbollah is not a state. It has no seat in the UN and is independent of any international mechanism that could bind it. but they are afraid to say the one word they have to say.
