well they need the rest in south Israel to respond to daily Yemeni missile/drone attacks and in the north to respond to daily Hezbollah strikes, and in Syria to try to stop some of Iran's daily arms shipments to Syria/Hezbollah, so Hamas and the Axis of Resistance are keeping them busy

He is right. But Hezbollah doesn't have a strong presence in Beirut, so he is threatening to carpet bomb Beirut to punish all Lebanese people for Hezbollah's potential actions to deter Hezbollah

He's showing the intent of and commitment to a campaign of collective punishment on people of Lebanon, which is a war crime OR a crime against humanity.
