They don't have the means to do anything, that's the problem. It must suck to high hell having your two main international airports targeted at whim and not be able to do jack squat about it. Only possibility is if Iran has supplied some type of their ground-launched missiles that are at the ready and they can lob them at any target inside zion. Other than that, Syria is unfortunately severely

they are in a 12 year+ war with large parts of their country still under Turkish and American occupation

but if you think they are weak, wait until you see the Israeli flag still flying in many sunni Arab countries

Iran and Turkie should work day and night to solve this conflict, some compromise has to be reached as it is not fringe part of population that is against assad, some other ruling mix has to be established in Syria instead ancient and anachronic bath dictatorship.
Iran has to have all guaranties for unhinged resistance activities but current regime has to go, that could be starting point for talks.

Man there is not justification, a country must learn their lessons, why Syrians has not acquired serious air defence systems??? what are they waiting for? no excuses.

Because iran does not have one to meet their own needs, those systems are not coming from thin air, only few countries in world capable for placing proper layered air defence and guess what most of them are their enemies.

Israel wants complete control of all Palestinian territories. At the same time they're battling Hezbollah and would seek some of Lebanon as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they also try to retake Sanai from Egypt.
