Well by Jan 2020 you should have plenty of options.
Like I said wait for the new Ryzen 3000 series.
They may have some interesting APU units where you don’t need a dedicated GPU saving cost.
On the other hand its fun sometimes to choose a dedicated GPU and there are plenty of cheap options available and of course leaves open a path to upgrade once you have more money saved up.
So just a suggestion without knowing actual performance numbers or benchmarks.
A low end Ryzen 3000 series 3 as well as a GTX 1050.
Just a suggestion and I haven’t really looked into it but researching all the options is half the fun!
