I have a relativly tight budget gaming PC, but still pretty good nontheless. I can run most games on atleast high or very high. Tried playing really graphic intense games like Metro and it ran smoothly. I played Shadow of Mordor aswell, it ran perfectly without any problems(great game aswell, a bit repetitive but great nontheless.)

GPU: GeForce GTX-770 MSI 2GB
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2 x 4GB
Monitor: 1 x LG 23MP67VQ-P Black 23 inch 1920x1080
Hard Drive: Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB
OS: Win 7 Professional 64-bit
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD
Case: Aerocool GT Black Edition
PSU: Corsair CX600M
Keyboard: Sharkoon Skiller
Mouse: Sharkoon Dragonia

Cost = ~1000 Euro's.

That's a pretty good gaming pc but u may have to upgrade your RAM in future

I actually was going to buy 2 x 8gb but i accidently bought these, and i am to lazy to buy another 8 xD.

I dont know. I just took the information from my Tweaker account. However from what i know its a bit difficult to overclock my CPU with my current chipset, so i never bothered.

Hey mate! We got the same hard drive but you have a better gpu and cpu than me which is also super cool too. I paid a total of 552 EUR (600 USD) for the whole rig not including the keyboard & mouse. Yes, for Shadow of Mordor, it is definitely repetitive. Lost track of the Orc Captains I kept controlling after the 9th one. Wish I could play Fallout 4 and Civ V but I already have an appalling backlog of games like Mass Effect 3 and Bioshock: Infinite that I haven't even installed yet. Tbqh, it didn't make sense for me to buy more games when I had just started playing Witcher 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel this Wednesday. I run games like Crysis 3 on High settings but I have to use Medium settings for certain games like Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

Sweet build. Don't see too many skylake i7 but its absolutely a fresh build. What games do you play on there? Also, what currency did you buy your parts with? Lol, sorry for these too many questions.

I have a MSI GX 60 Ghost pro 052.. you can get it on Amazon. MSI is better than ASUS if you like thinner and slimmer laptops. get any with 970 980 Nvidia series

I think go desk top instead of laptop as it gives you more bang for the buck
back in the days AMD processors were known to be better than Intel for gaming.
and cheaper too.. not sure how are things now

DOS 6.22 plus Windows 3.11 for WorkGroups (later upgraded to Windows 95x)
14" Monitor SVGA display

Games:
Chuck Yeager's Air comabt, TFX, Falcon 2, TIE fighter, Doom, Doom2, Doom2 Plutonia experiment, ZOOL, Lost Vikings, Legends of Kyrandia, Monkey Island seriesl, Hocus Pocus, Jazz Jack Rabbit, One Must Fall 2097, Sam and Max Hit the road plus Commodore 64 emulator with all its games . When I got a 3D card yes Commandos series

All these games now can be played with DoxBox or SCUMVM if you can get them

Even now its the same case , AMD on-die GPU + Radeon card make up good low cost gaming rigs. Intel has improved its embedded GPU but AMD has better drivers for cross linking discrete GPU with onboard gpu.

I have heard nothing positive about AMD's drivers, infact thats the whole reason why i didnt opt for one.
