What so good about this? Is it better than Prison Break? Breaking bad? Suits? White collar? Yawn.

It's not your typical "good" triumph over "evil."

You know the fictional world and it's development of characters.

Small detail from season ahead (edit: past)comes back as a plot twist. George RR Martin isn't JK Rowling the series.

Stupid people watch it for $ex and nudity.

Nerds like it for mythical fantasy.

If you can actually feel for the guy who threw a child out the window just to protect the secret about his incest, than this show really built some characters. In the books though, Jamie is even more defined as honorable.

We've only seen him through the descriptions of a Stark, Stannis, Targaryen, or Baratheon.

He's a kingslayer because he wanted to protect thousands and a city.

Honorless but he beat the Lannister soldier who speared Ned Stark from the back.

Oathbreaker because he'll ride for days to serve as a Champion for his accused crime.

He's always been used as a opposite moral mirror to who he's with.

Having this face doesn't hurt.

As much as I hated the Lannisters throughout the show, seeing Jamie feeling for his men, I found myself shouting "get in there! " when Bronn fired the scorpion.

Just remember George's principals "A villain is the hero of the other side"

White meant for good is the inverse here (white walkers)
Black is meant for bad (but for good is the Knights watch)

Its skewed and the saga will have a bitter sweet ending!

Without doubt the best thing on TV.
Jamie and Cersei are my favourites. And Tyrion.
