The picture was taken on 30th November 1971 in Bumoso (Gap Sabzu or Abu musa) island, after the liberation of three Iranian Islands in the Persian Gulf by Iranian forces. The Islands were taken from Iran by Britain in 1907. However, a few days after taking this picture, UAE declared independence and became a country!
