I must say, I am totally impressed with IRIAF maintenance crews' abilities in keeping so many F-4s and F-14s in operation. I bet it took some doing. They are pretty old airframes by now.

this Sukhoi Su-24 was in iraq's air force during the saddam's era. during the gulf war 24 of 30 su-24 ran into iran to avoid the war .

Iran's f-16

Iran received 2 F-16 one A & one B before 1980 due to pilots training and tests.
And now one of them is still in operation in mehrabad air base in tehran and one other disassembled for reverse engineering in M-ATF program with Iranian and Russian engineering to building multi role fighter that its result was shafagh aircraft. In that contract with Russia Russian must sell 400 mig-29 to Iran but they don't their agreement and just sell fewer mig-29.

this is the only f-16 operated by iran by now doing services in a f-5 squadron in mehrabad air base . you can see IIAF sign. they even didn't paint it again.
