pakistan Army's Auschwitz-style rape camps, impregnating Bangladeshi women, an undertaking aimed at modifying the racial composition of a population in revolt.
A new movie, trying to convey a sense of the pakistan Army's unmitigated scale of barbarity & sexual violence, unleashed on the people of present-day Bangladesh, to suppress their struggle for Independence from the Punjabi domination of, then, West pakistan.

"I can narrate to you incidents of women being raped twenty times a day, of daughters and wives snatched from their fathers and husbands, of lawyers and professor brutally tortured, of children molested and locked away or of the rivers flowing red and trucks full of bodies being emptied in garbage dumps; but that is not the real story. The real story, the real question is: why could we not smell the stench in the air? Not then, not now!"
- 1971: a war story
A heart-felt, be it disturbing, interview with the maker of the movie

Production[edit]
While writing the film's scrit, Devvrat researched the topic thoroughly, which included interviews with various journalists, war veterans, and refugees.[4][5] Filming for The Bastard Child was supposed to take place in Bengal, but the film was forced to relocate after only 8 days of shooting due to problems with the Federation of Cine Techinians and Workers of Eastern India, as there were issues with the amount of local hands hired to work on the movie.[6] Filming also took place around Delhi and Haryana, and overall filming for The Bastard Child occurred mostly at night.[7] In 2013 Farooq Sheikh was confirmed to be performing in the film, only for rumors to surface that he be replacing Sabyasachi Chakraborty in the movie.[8] Devvrat addressed these rumors in June 2013, stating that Chakraborty was still part of the movie but that his original role had been split into two different characters due to the director wanting to avoid further potential issues with the Federation of Cine Technicians and Workers of Eastern India.[8] The production for The Bastard Child experienced further issues with the film's release, as the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association did not approve of the movie's title, which included the word "bastard".[4] Devvrat responded to the criticism over the title, stating that he did not intend for the word to be seen as offensive.[9]
Of her role in the film, Raima Sen felt that it was "one of the toughest roles she has portrayed on screen in the recent past."[7]
Reception[edit]
Critical reception so far has been positive.[10] Live Mint gave a positive review for the movie, which they felt contained "beautifully filmed grief and devastation".[11] Page3 Bollywood also gave a positive review, praising the film's acting and musical score.

Very very shameful and sick incident in the history of the south Asia. The one and only Allah swt will not forgive the culprits.

Is the below a real incident?

Maj Gen (retd) Khadim Hussain Raja, who was general officer commanding of 14 Division in the then East Pakistan, gave the account in his book titled A Stranger in My Own Country: East Pakistan, 1969-1971, published by Oxford University Press this year.

The book is posthumously published probably because it was a hot potato in the times it was actually written, reports Pakistan based The Express Tribune on July 8.

Page 98 of the book reads, “[Enter] Commander East Pakistan General Niazi, wearing a pistol holster on his web belt. Niazi became abusive and started raving. Breaking into Urdu, he said: Main iss haramzadi qaum ki nasal badal doon ga. Yeh mujhe kiya samajhtey hain. He threatened that he would let his soldiers loose on their womenfolk. There was pin drop silence at these remarks. The next morning, we were given the sad news. A Bengali officer Major Mushtaq went into a bathroom at the Command Headquarters and shot himself in the head.”

Niazi planned rape of Bangalee women for ethnic cleansing

what more can one expect from this army...and even now they feel proud of it.
If God is true and if he is watching over us, then he will never forgive them for their deeds.:butcher:

Do you see God in a forgiving mood wrt Pakistan at the moment ? I think its more to do with the pride most Pakistanis feel about that episode than the actual episode even...

You know why no one take serious Bongla bundo claims? They like to exaggerate them to make Pak army as German army. Killing 3 million in couple of months? While Nazi germany needed decade to kill 6 million jews. And raping to change genetic composition while Bengalis still look like Bengalis of 50 years ago.

You have started to work as a spokesperson for God as well? Cool.

Wonder what are your views about thousands of Indians who have died in the past few decades due to different kind of domestic violence in different parts of Bharat. Must be some very sinful people who deserved to die.

Hmm than i wonder where all the children are of these so called women that were raped and impregnanted. Its amazing how people will believe in any lies or B.S that is fed to them. To this day we are yet to find the 3 million bones and hundreds and thousands of bastard children.

I did not know that you were the spokesperson for God.

And if you are using that same analogy, take a good look at yourself first and than we will talk. Set your own house in order before throwing accusations on other. I guess God must be really angry at Sub Saharan Africa too for their evil deeds.
