6000-7000 tons is almost destroyer territory in displacement.

My understanding is that weight will be around 3000 to 4000 ton in displacement but yes, as heavily armed as some destroyers. These should definitely include (like I said before) VLS missile tubes up front and encrypted anti-EMF Tactical Datalink System to track and coordinate threats along with Army and AF platforms. Stealth design for hull, superstructure and integrated mast too.

The partner has not yet been selected.
None of the mentioned countries are able to supply their own tech just yet across the board. BD would rather avoid any US tech for the time being.
BD needs to work with someone who can bring all their own tech to the table.
