News - 28,000 puja mandaps set up in country; Tough security for Durga Puja
Dhaka, Sept 18 (UNB) - All-out security measures have been taken to ensure smooth celebration of Durga puja, the biggest religious festival of Hindu communities, across the country.

Around 28,000 puja mandaps have been set up throughout the country this year which was 27,000 in the last year.

Home Minister Sahara Khatun said the number of puja mandaps have remarkably increased this year because atmosphere of religious harmony and peace which has been existing in the country in the last several years coupled with a boost in the people`s confidence in the government.

Sahara Khatun made the remark after a meeting on security during Durga puja held at the Home Ministry with the Home Minister in the chair.

The five-day long main festival of Durga puja will be celebrated in temples and 28,000 puja mandaps set up in the country on October 2-6.

Referring to the law and order, Sahara said necessary security measures have already been taken and the number of law enforcers has been increased to ensure peaceful Durga puja.

Security has been upped for puja since the Awami Leahue-led grant alliance government came to power in January, 2009.

She said the number of Puja mandap will be 196 in capital Dhaka - about three more than the previous year.

State Minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Haque Tuku, concerned senior officials and chiefs of different law-enforcement and intelligence agencies were present.

We must also play our part and give a hand to Pakistan, China and the separatists (covertly):

- Supply weapons to the separatists from our ordnance factories. Good for business!

- Bomb the Farakka and Tista barrages to shreds. Would be interesting to see how the veggies react. If their balls are big enough as the forumers here , some gurkha and naga brigades would be on the way with 3rd world manufactured INSAS rifles.

- Offer multiple Naval bases to China. China must get a foothold in the Indian Ocean, regardless of our current relationship with India.

- Forge a military alliance with Pakistan. It's not '71 anymore. We share a common threat. If either of our countries are attacked, it means the other would be attacked in no time given india's hegemonistic hindutva ambitions.

- If, with China and Pakistan, we ever manage to invade parts of india, the indian hindu population must be sent to concentration camps. They are different from our hindus in that they believe in a sinister hindu idealogy.

- We can't stay complacent. Evolution makes way for the fittest to survive. If China, Pakistan and BD can join hands, india is no match for the alliance. Japan will never create further enmity with China just to please india. Vietnam will not go out of it's way to join hands with india, becaue ASEAN will prevent a war in SE Asia at any cost.

Now let the flood of insane indian barking begin.
