I have a bad memory of Poodles. Once, I walked into a restaurant somewhere in Bangkok. The owner had a cute poodle. I was going to pat it, and it bite me!

Ohh, Only fools and horses.. Yes seen a couple of episodes, But British working class comedies never caught on big overseas, Probably because of the accent
