I don't know what we have done to piss Indians off aside from hosting the biggest India diaspora in the world in the GCC, doing trade with them since millenniums (the reason why the Arabian Sea is called the Arabian Sea) and visiting as tourists occasionally. Some of those Indians seem to have an intense hatred for Arabs and Muslims while most Arabs have nothing against Indians. It baffles my mind. I am not sure where you have read history but Turks never ruled the entire Muslim world. The Ottoman Empire was actually rather small compared to the 3 previous Arab Caliphates (Rashidun, Umayyad, Abbasid). Arabs ruled the entire Muslim world for 1000 years. From Al-Andalus in Spain/Portugal to Pakistan. We also ruled half of modern-day Turkey for centuries, all of Iran and all of Pakistan almost.

Ottomans ruled most of the Muslim world for 400 years but large parts of the Arab world never was under Ottoman control. Most of Arabia, Northwestern Africa etc for instance were not part of the Ottomans at all. Oman and Morocco were Empires themselves on their own back then. Oman for instance ruled lands in Southern Iran, Eastern Africa and Pakistan.

Actually 300 years because in the 1800's you had lost Egypt and other areas. You (Ottomans) were known as the sick man of "Europe" since you lost at Vienna in the 1680's in European literature.
