What a perverted logic. You actually want the animals to feel pain? I don't believe it that someone can be that "dim"
Indeed in France there is an association (animals association) that said that when a French person is buying beef, he doesn't know if the beef is prepared as for Jews and Muslims, or the way French are used to it.
The association complains about the fact that the sellers of the beef don't say to the client about this. They ask a label on any product so the client who didn't like the way the animal is killed, could decide himself .
I think this is fair .
Fact is that it was first used by fascist parti (national front) as political argue: they were liing and said that most of the meat in Paris region is halal.
There was then a little study to say there was some halal meat that was not indicated as halal, and the government used it ... because they try to get the national front votes: Sarkozy is almost sure to loose the elections and he desesperately look for anything to help to win.
A study showed that the halah meat is around 10-15% of the meat in the Paris region.
Anyway prime minister said in radio channel that this was old time methods to kill animals, owned by ancient ages.
Jews and Muslims together complained about these words.
This is very political.
But you know .. it was much worst , really worst words nowadays used by Sarkozy:
he said there are too many Foreigners in France and France needs to divide by two the number of foreigners accepted in the territory... indeed he won't do something like that but again he wants to take the part of national front votes !
Socialists are on the way for having the next presidency here... easily.
