Howz the climate thr by the way?

Temperate continental but with a hefty Gulf Stream influence --»West and Mediterranean one --» South.
If you need Cold, use altitude : Alps-Jura-Ardennes going North along our Eastern borders or Massif Central.
The Northern Coast is for lovers of wet clammy cold useless weather as it faces England ... but
the summertime is decent enough that poor old English ladies come down ( rich ones go to Nice ).
Around the tip of Brittany, that Gulf Stream shows and all the way down the Atlantic coast things get better
down to Biarritz where that surf image in a prior post'o'mine came from. The warmth extends to minimize
the severity of winters past Paris ( -5° C is a frigid winter day there ) to the East and over the central plains.
Of course, the arc from the Pyrénées' other end to almost Lyon up and back along the foothills ( 500 to 1000m )
of the Alps to the Italian border is warmed by the Mare Themstrum and called Provence where that pic with
Lavender in Vauban's post above came from.
It's an abbey dating back to the 11th-12th century called Notre-Dame de Sénanque, down in its own mini-valley.
Funny, cause I sent surya kiran from PDF over there last summer ... by recommending it to him, not in a parcel.

Last April, I remember 20-24°C sunny with a couple rainy windy days around 18-20 but that was special.
As a consequence of the forgiving, balmy temperatures for our latitudes, we have one of the most amazing
springtime with flowers invading the land for 2 straight months. Another godsend is the variety of produce :
From apples and berries in the North, over vast plains of wheat and a myriad of other cereals to olives and
citrus in the South and grapes of course.

Ah grapes! without which we'd still be mere beer drinking Celts.

@Providence, the term is generic for cave-dwellers ( literally from the Greek trōglōdutes ) but used in anthropology
to denote the enduring sites as well as the way of live. The Ancient Greek apparently based the sound of the word
on the name of an Ethiopian or Somalian tribe that had the characteristic.
It is commonly used as an insult meaning caveman by Captain Haddock in Tintin!
So today, anyone living in a partially underground structure fits the bill, if natural that is!
If it's made of concrete, you're either in a command centre or a survivalist nut!

France is really beautiful.. Be it urban or the semi urban to rural side.. Clean places, clean air, beautiful colors and really beautiful women... The conversation with most folks are generally friendly and warm.... Unlike some other countries, in general you face a lot less issue in France. I hope it remains the same inspite of many issues France is facing over last year.

Can you post some more on traditional dresses to? is region wise every place dresses have unique differentiation?

Also how about some traditional wine makers and their beautiful fields/wineyard ? They have their own festival right?

I'll look into traditional dress when time allows Parik but yes there are quite a few by region.
As for the festival, wine making is so prevalent that you could not synchronize all places!
I did the vendanges ( picking grapes, making and casking the wine ) in Burgundy as a youth.
Size of estates varies immensely. You must be referring to big/renowned Châteaux, domains.

Hey @Vauban you guy's are lucky to live in a incredibly beautiful country. Paris is a gem. I really had great time there. I still intend to do road trip and drive over the Millau Viaduct.

One thing i so desperately wish for, is to ride iconic Train à Grande Vitesse.

At @anant_s The view is much better from the outside as the train passes; our cows seem
to like it too which I surmise some Indians might appreciate : B€ so they have enjoyment?
When the TGV is not in a plain however, those in it see streaks more than a clear paysage( scenery ).

I'm continuing with Avignon as promised, the famed city where the Popes lived for 3/4 of a century
1309-1377 :

which explains why that bridge was never rebuilt then and half is still missing.
