Zimbabwe is a relatively peaceful country.

Based on this ranking. I find it crazy that this foundation/survey group has put Pakistan just barely ahead of HAITI, freaking HAITI!!! I really don't know how they've placed Pakistan this far down the list, I didn't realise the situation there was so bad.

Zimbabwe is a relatively peaceful country.

Dictatorship tends to seem peaceful..buy really aren't.

It does not seem to be accurate or realistic. Done in a haphazard manner. For example Sudan is by comparison much and much more peaceful than Syria nowadays. But then when young girls right out of university in a Western cosmopolis who have never been any place outside the 40 kilometers radius of their downtown hangout clubs, make lists, they would look like this.

Based on this ranking. I find it crazy that this foundation/survey group has put Pakistan just barely ahead of HAITI, freaking HAITI!!! I really don't know how they've placed Pakistan this far down the list, I didn't realise the situation there was so bad.

I guess there's a lot of hidden issues about pakistan then. .They have consistently been in the top ten or fifteen in the failed state index.

Pakistan is a fragile state...as in one can get away with doing anything...locals and foreigners alike.

However the country is here to stay...it will exist...it's the manner of existence which counts though.

Still better than Syria. There is relative peace in Sudan. People get killed everywhere. Over 10000 children get shot each year in United States by fire arms alone. And that is only children. It is about comparison which this list has failed in.

Merely existing is nothing to be proud of in itself. If this is your only aspiration for Pakistan you are setting the bar very low indeed.

You high on something pal? Must be really good stuff. It is not gun "accident". It is shooting at the belly of kids. The figure is from CDC (center for disease control, federal government): Epidemic: Guns kill twice as many kids as cancer does

In 2010 the exact figure for children shot in US was 15,576.

As I said, it is a comparison. I can understand that Iceland is peaceful compared to US. And similarly Sudan is more peaceful than Syria. If you can not get this, then it is time to quit that stuff you are smoking.
