Four Indian soldiers killed in Mujahideen Attack on an Indian Army Camp

This year saw a record number of tourists this year and the year is not yet over , at the peak of terrorism in Kashmir there were around 300 terrorists operating ,and the average life expectancy of the militant was less than 6 months.now there very few who pick up guns.

After removing the article 370 many of them have been killed with the Intel provided by locals, govt has taken village by village ,district by district ,development is reaching all the corners of kashmir , give it few years they too will go.
The resistance will continue as long as native Kashmiris are present in the valley I have made quite a few friends over the years from Kashmir valley and from what I can tell the majority of people hate India as a whole the key thing they all have in common is they want an Independent Kashmir void of India and Pakistan.

From the early 1990s to 2010 the majority of Kashmiris were in favour of joining Pakistan but now the younger generation want an independent Kashmir.

Moving on to the attack it was pretty unsuccessful probably due to the response time of Sanghis Similarly, due to the lack of morale/emotional support from Pakistan and outdated training, the mujahideen are pretty much caught in between a hard place.
If you call 2 mujahids killing 7 occupational forces and critically injuring 8 more then it was a failure. These are fidayeen attacks so they expect to be martyred. Even the weapons and ammo recovered, it’s not a lot considering there was 2 fighters. These are veteran mujahids who were highly trained. They aren’t your average Kashmiri youth with a pistol fighting. They were well equipped and well trained and did a successful attack. The operation is still ongoing by mujahids. Last time the same type of attack happened in poonch by same group in 2021, the attack on Indian army camp by 2 mujahids killed 12-15 occupational forces while losing no fighters and once they retreated into the forests they were supported by 2 more mujahids who were hunting Indians while they launched a search operation. Many occupational forces soldiers were killed then while 1 mujahid was martyred. Same strategy is likely for this attack. 2 mujahids went in for a fidayee attack while other mujahids were and are probably in the area waiting to hunt more Indians. PAFF even said the operation is ongoing.
The aftermath of the attack also displays a large array of ammunition and gear captured suggesting the mujahid were in for a long haul but were caught early on, possibly limited to the outer cordon of the base.
Not that much was captured.
2 mujahids martyred while 7 occupational forces killed and many injured. Seems like a success to me.
They’ve done same type of attack in sams Rajouri same style in 2020 where 15 occupational forces killed and 5 mujahids martyred.
Hence the resistance in Kashmir is pretty much now local only.
These guys weren’t locals. Their the same group which did Rajouri ops in 2020 then Poonch ops in 2021 and now Rajouri again. They are trained mujahids. The ones who did Poonch ops they did the ops and crossed border and returned to their homes already. Their motivation and when they do attacks isn’t random either. It’s part of new strategy. PAFF is different from other groups.

now local only.
If by local you mean mostly AJKians, Punjabis and Pakhtuns then yes.

Kashmir's struggle is now in a stage of decline due to most Pakistanis whom the Kashmiris call brothers hardly giving a second look at their miseries, just look at this forum morale support is nonexistent.

Kashmiri hatred for India is universal, even among the Sarkari Kashmiris, who ally with India for financial benefits.

Lack of an uprising or absence of mass demonstrations, are not evidence that Kashmiris want to integrate with India or their dislike for India has waned.
