What's new

Former Army chief called Shabbar Zaidi to protest on real estate tax

This is why we need new force. One from humble beginnings. Not this shitshow with chests full of dubious medals. They are mafia full of land grabbers. An army’s job is defend its country honor and integrity. This shaitani force does the opposite. It’s directed by kuffars to keep Muslims down.
The best analogy I can give captain America winter soldier. How SHIELD is infiltrated by Hydra and runs amok. These are pure evil using Islam and Muslim blood to fill their pockets.

Simple solution is for overseas Pakistanis to completely boycott DHA.

Don't worry bruv. That is already happening.

Notice how the Western media, Western political parties, Western human rights organizations are all gagged on just about everything related to Pakistan. They think that people are fools and don't know what is happening. Obviously they know what is happening, but receive gag orders from the highest level.

Just to give you a little example. Right after Showbaz was imported a little row occured on Twitter between Geert Wilders and Showbaz. Geert Wilders was mocking Showbaz and taking a dig at Islam as he usually does. Geert is a little Islam hater as we all know. Twitter banned Geert for a little while and the racist Dutch media went bezerk. Twitter doesn't adhere to freedom of speech because our little Geert has the right to hate Islam and mock an imported head of another country. On live TV one host litetally said that we cannot go in great detail because Pakistan is right now a place where the Americans are busy. So we cannot anger the current imported government in Pakistan too much. Hence Twitter intervening and cajoling Pakistan at our expense. This is some ordinary host on Dutch TV who knows in great length what is happening in Pakistan. Just saying.

There is a military Inc in the US as well dude. Lockheed, Sikorsky, Raytheon, etc. It's unavoidable.

US military however huge and powerful is subserviant to US government and constitution. The shenanigans pulled by our military is unimaginable in US. Most of the crimes by our generals if done in US would have either gotten death sentence or life in jail without parole by civilian courts.

Only in our country the generals are allowed to rule and run rough shot over everything and everyone

Notice how around the world when a PM is abroad on a tour they have their own secret service security.

In PK notice how there is a colonel/brigadier following the PM around on a tour.

I never understood when the army used to sit around Imran Khan during meetings etc. It makes sense now.

Have a look at the following para:

Now I really want to tag some people on here, but tell me, kis mulk main yeh hota hai where an Army chief calls the FBR chairman to protest real estate taxes?

And then we say ham non political hain.

Lut hai mulk main lut

There is no doubt over the fact that DHA like any other entity in Pakistan tries to save itself from as much tax as it can ..There are ~3500 housing societies that are outside the tax net. Most of them report to govt. less than half the RE tax they collect by keeping lower than market prices in their transaction record. Many of them recieve public services unlike cantonment boards and pay nothing. But shabbar only gives us half info here.. does he disclose how much RE tax dha does give compared to others? Shabbar himself has been accused lately for helping businessmen evade tax on behalf of the last govt.. so whats shabbar doing now? The guy (shabbar ) has lately been doing strange stuff.. calling cpec a farce , asking to limit relations with China and asking for a technocrats government ..none of which seems to be happening ..he is kind of frustrated from all directions particularly with the forces in this regard ..so much so that he went on pilgrimage..so is he taking a shot here at military on behalf of someone?

There is a story to what dha is today.. uptil 1977 Defence Officers Housing Authoiry karachi failed to deliver the secure and planned gated community it wanted for its retired people because of sindh givernement wanting its "share" and having it stay at its "mercy"..the blackmailing put a halt to its vision and it became something like any other society. Thats when Ziaul haq in 1980 brought in an ordinance that made defence housing autbority karachi a statutory body and in 2002 Musarraf did same and passed an ordinance for DHA in punjab as divorcing the mayor worked so well it was breath of fresh air for those who lived there... The ordinances literally made dha a self governing body and then came selling plots to outsiders and business... Article 17 of the Constitution was there to have the AGP upon instructions from president to audit dha.. this was a safety mechanism to avoid having dha go overboard however non of the governments saw interest in doing so as it hurt their own private h8using schemes as they knew it would go down to all. So it's not just military they are all together in this business..After musharaf we had 18th ammendment and parliamentary system came where presidents role became secondary.. therefore this required ammendments to the ordnances.but that also never happened and each civilian government that came tried to use it to build influence in military while courts were openly dragging dha in court.A good cop bad cop strategy to yield support by giving a "compensation".

We all know housing societies go beyond their limits when they are given a freehand particularly by government who do this for their own little interests. This is nature of business and greed that comes along..and not even military is free from it..
The solution in it is to have federal govt be able to audit the housing schemes and have them fall under a minimal compliance plan. Either develop housing for people which they cant unfortunately..or have the land be given to private builders on a long term lease. Have them liable for the services they are supposed to provide and strengthen FBR which can only happen if they let go of their own interests.

None of them have real estate empires and enterprises that have monopoly control, unlike the DHA enterprises they still have to compete in their respective sectors.

And that's just an example.

And that's just an example.

Since when did Lockheed (a private company) equate to the USAF or USN?

And that's just an example.
Lockheed is a private corporation - it can own lands much as McDonalds can. So are you suggesting that you agree it isn’t Pakistan Army state institution but Pakistan Army Inc.?

In the future - think before you respond… might help you not make ridiculous replies.

In fact, the US Army is working the opposite way in that it’s divesting its own housing for active personnel to private firms to run and will simply pay rent.

And that's just an example.
Bad analogy. Can't compare LM to what DHA constitutes.

No ..they don't.. but they are a right hand .company of the government..

The billions in arms sales have to park as well and real-estate can be one way..
You may want to belivee its just another private company ..its not.. its a major partner 70% of its sales goto their own department of defence. One in five of their employees has been in uniform.
Unlike Charlies at home they atleast have skill to do things transparently

I'm totally aware how US forces help their ex employees with housing. This was not the point of discussion of my last reply.

They have a totally different system. They make money in their own system using their own model.

No ..they don't.. but they are a right hand .company of the government..

They have a totally different system. They make money in their own system using their own model.

You understand there is a significant difference, such as a private company investing in land, and a public institution, such as US Army, investing and profiting as a real estate developer, cement manufacturer, and cereal maker. There is a fine line between the two. The modus operandi is one makes a profit for shareholders, and the other is to defend the country within a framework.

Come on man honestly?

It's the Pakistani curriculum. Unfortunately, it's done its damage.
