China is a budding world power. Containing India is important, but not that important that they will include Pakistan in an official alliance of sorts. That will discourage future prospects for such an org. China will stay close to Pakistan - but ONLY to keep India 'in check'. For her world ambitions, Pakistan has little no role in China's gameplan.

Dude, why so serious? It was a general point..as in..Most economic centers are closer to indian border which...doesn't make sense for pakistan to import sub continental stuff indirectly from dubai or by sea to Karachi when road connectivity is just across the border.

They want a weak Pakistan or if necessary broken Pakistan, because it will help them assert their policy in South Asia and they will get two targets 1) China will lose an ally 2) India will be happy too and will be in much better position to ascertain US policy in the region.

What does those images tell you?

That all of pakistan's population centers, farming, mining and industries are lined up along India's borders. The only way to trade inbound and outbound with SA and beyond is through India.
