But the retired admiral stood in support of the retired general at that crucial point? Had the retired general been a "secular" like the retired admiral would you have overlooked the selfish behavior of the general?

I do share his views and people who know me on the forum know pretty well i am no liberal sickular/secular or whatever u call it.I am no pakistani agent or sympathizer of a particular community.

And i am no modi hater,in fact my whole family including me voted for modi and will vote again for bjp if elction is held tomorrow.

However there is something really wrong in the mentality of some people in bjp and there has been a sudden change in society,i feel it every single day.

Congress is bad for india's future but it was much more inclusive imho.I will still choose bjp as i am a born sikh and an atheist now so am not bothered by these things at a personal level but if i was a muslim,i would never vote for bjp for sure.

You vote BJP or any other party will not change the fact that you are citizen of Republic of India and that doesnt make you less Indian.

Indian citizens who live aboard thinks in term of nationality . I wont be silent if any Indian citizen is being targetted because he/she are Indian citizens.

Who will leave Indian citizens aboard because of thier religion are in reality dividing the nation and making enemies of India to play with Indian citizens lives.

Indian products are being exported all over the world and there are some worthless nations who will eat, wear and adopt everything from India but will see Indians as sub humans and these scumbags live in India.

The only question which comes in my mind are the International laws , who come countries which claims to be cultured and civilized indulge in such activities.

And the smokescreen of these prejudices being subject to questioning even if he was a BJP member is so painfully transparent as to be embarrassing. We all know he is not a BJP member. Why invoke that famous rock-ribbed integrity when it is so patently a figment of our collective suspension of disbelief?

Just wondering if some trespasses are more excusable than others. A (albeit very humanly) hypocritical stand though. In short, your view does not become the sole Right one. Those who disagree don't become 'cretins' and 'rabid dogs' and 'packs'. We are still Indians.

Ans: Nope. The views of the Admiral is being debated here. If that is not acceptable, there will be no room for a debate. Which is what the intellectual space was in this country for the past 60 years.
