Thats is right that both Erdogan and Putin is a good leaders for their first 10-15 years rule. This is why we should not support authoritarian regime and limit our President period into just 10-15 years.

Indonesia limit the amount of time an individual can rule our country because we know both Soekarno and Soeharto were exelen leaders in their 10-15 years rule, but become the reason of Indonesian economic down fall during the time their rule has exceeded that limit.

For parliament system under a democratic regime some how the negative effect can be mitigated like the way Margaret Teacher and Angele Merkel lead both Britain and German quite long.

Presidential system does give huge control to leaders compared to parliament system, it has both good and bad side. President system negative side should be eliminated by limiting how long an individual can be a President.

That is why I much prefer Parliamentary system over the Presidential one. Pakistan is a multi-ethnic country & it can not afford a Presidential system when one ethnicity is in majority. Fools do not understand this & keep harping for the presidential system.

I have said a many times before , if we have a civilian Prime Minister then we should have a military President. The President would have the right to fire/shoot the PM and force elections, fire the cabinet and dissolve Parliament and force an election. But Ideally we should have President Xi as ruler of Pakistan the one man who has transformed Pakistan the most with my help.

Impossible. Can you guys not understand that Pakistani society is not like Chinese, Russian or Turkish etc. They are highly cohesive and homogenous. Their cohesive social heirarchy pulls them towards centralized rule under one strong man.

In Pakistan it's quite the opposite. Instead of being a society - which suggests a people who conform to one set of social order Pakistani population is more a large mob.

You get 100 Paks and they will strugle to agree on one thing. Divided by ethnicity, religion, social class, cultures, regions, tribes, clans, biradris etc means for every 100 Paks you will get 50 differant views pulling and conflicting against each other.

If one wins the rest will be dong everything to pull him down by any means possible.Even military leaders have to tread on eggs or lest they get pulled down.

I saw a social experiment how 10 random Japanese quickly ordered themselves into a team and then each person fell in a precise pecking order - then they just got on with the task they were asked to do as a TEAM.

You get 10 random Paks and they will be end up in a conflict long after the time for task has ran out over who will be boss. To put it bluntly Pakistan has too many wannbe chiefs and not enough wanting to Indians.

Such a society will produce exactly the politics you see in Pakistan.

Faith, Unity, Discipline.

If that floor crossing rule is what SR and Fawad Chaudhry saying, than opposition has to get support from Govt allies like PMLQ and MQM else it has started looking difficult for opposition to get their no confidence motion pass in NA.

However, CM Punjab will be replaced in order to get support of Tareen group back. I think Govt is looking to nominate Pervaiz Elahi as Punjab CM and needs to sort out this problem with Tareen group.
