ISLAMABAD, Sep 16 (APP): Top US military commander Admiral Michael Mullen is arriving here Tuesday night to discuss with Pakistani leaders the security situation and war against terror, official sources said.

Soon after his arrival in the federal capital, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Admiral Mullen will hold important meetings; including a call on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.

He is to discuss cooperation between Pakistan and United States in the war against terror.

He will also meet Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani to discuss the security situation along the Pak-Afghan border.

I am not sure everything is necessarily going according to plan here, or plans have changed - why else would Adm. Mullen have to meet Pakistani leaders so soon after the meeting aboard the CVBG?
