Thus in contrast to what you just mentioned, it's clear that journalists are debarred from entering the area leave alone their being embedded with army units. Thus, the outside world doesn't know what exactly is going on. Do you?

It is actually quite easy to gauge the success of Zard-e-azb. I refer you to the following data: Fatalities in Terrorist Violence in Pakistan 2003-2016

Zarb-e-azb started in mid 2014. Note the number of civilian casualties in 2013, and then in 2014 and 2015. That is a quantifiable way to gauge the success of Zarb-e-azb.

Why are Pak journalists not allowed in NW and areas where Op Zarb e Azab is being conducted? Is the ISPR wary of independent reporting to verify claims by the PA? They claim that more than 3500 militants and 500 soldiers have been killed till date in this Op. Without an independent source to verify these claims, these figures are meaningless.

Because then these journalists will become a target. If anything happens to them, Pakistan will have the world breathing down their neck. Also, they can screw up the operation by getting in the way of things.

No one would want to take the extra burden to have to shield journalists while they are on a mission to finish off terrorists who kill children...

No one would want to be the cause of the headlines JOURNALIST KILLED in Pakistan!

No one wants agencies pretending to be journalists to seep into or allow a terrorist to escape the area as a journalist- an already turmoil area which our army is trying to deal with

Kid I rarely post on threads about Indian casualties. Looks like you are thinking too much about me that's why seeing me even on threads where i don't post.

Anyways RIP. Our soldiers died fighting proudly with no local pelting stones on them. Like it happens with some soldiers in some atoot ang.

If journalists are allowed, then just for gaining some self importance, they will start propaganda gainst theoperation.

At theend, it will spread doubt in the mind of people and... You know what will be the consequence. Social média are very important when driven by honesty.. Everyone know the honesty of pak media.... Especially the ones who seem to be paid by foreigner s powers.

The success of an operation is usually gauged against the expected results. And what was the only xpected results inour case ? eradiations of terrorists....

Isn't the operation quiete successful so far when considering the numbers of daily terrorists attacks ?

Very funny that a foundation telling that it's quiete difficult to gauge the success... If i was paying them to study he events, i wouldhave fired every tom and dick from the his institution and cloised it definitely.

if some one looks at facts and does not lives in self generated fiction, successes are pretty obvious. from the size of area Taliban has lost (bigger than quiet few small countries) to loss in their ability to strike at will inside Pakistan, their losses are pretty obvious.....

if any thing terrorist losses have been under reported as per my humble knowledge ... some time to make it more palatable to general public and our own press which are full of personalities like hamid mir (directly on foreign payroll)
