As a Pakistani i hold no respect for those from our lands who fought the Ottomans. Even Though, today we understand under what conditions they were fighting under as an occupied people.

.
the areas comprising today's pakistan has always been famous for brave people.. but i wonder as to why they never showed aggression towards foreign invaders from Afghanistan side?

At what point in history?

. . . .
Because most of what is Pakistan was Muslim and was more often than not, allied to them.
what a pity.. history witnessed the same Muslims fighting fellow Muslims against Ottomans under the aegis of British..

Those times were dark times. Most of it was our fault. We ought to learn from history and reclaim our rightful place.

But there was no such thing as Pakistan at the time of the First World War!

Yes, there was. It is called predecessor states. Like the british occupation, sikh empire, kalat, sindh, Durrani empire, Indus valley civilisation and so on.

Predecessor states of Pakistan always changed but never the people, races, civilisation and history. No one kicked us out from our country, we always remained the same people (pashtun, baloch, kashmiris, sindhis and punjabis).

Pakistan is polically 67 years old but historically Pakistan is with all of its predecessor states over 5000 years old.

So please educate yourself.

Our fault?

Naah Horus bhai

When Turks were killing Turks
When Arabs were killing Turks
When Turks were killing Arabs

--- Not too different from what is going in some gad-forsaken African countries where one tribe kills the other, and cycle of violence goes on.

just like today's peacekeepers, our only fault was to go in and bring peace and stability, in the Arab lands controlled nay occupied by Turks.

If you call this fault, then perhaps we all need to create a new entry in the dictionary.

Thank you for adding one more self-beating, self-loathing comment.
