They could do that eventually,but there are some differences:
1.The Soviet Union was a far bigger and more industrialized country.
2.Tanks back then were far more simple to make.
3.The people believed in the cause. They were defending their motherland.

this will only lead to more Ukrainian deaths and poor Ukrainians are being blown to pieces in those mine fields all the while US law makers are saying its best money we have ever spent
Americans dont give 2 cents about the average Ukrainian dying
Russians are known to be ruthless taking a life for them is like killing a chicken, they bombed vegetables markets in Syria while civilians were collecting food they have no concept of morals or humanity they will keep slaughtering Ukrainians until no more Ukrainians are left
knowing all of this this is very sadistic and terribly sad how Americans are turning a blind eye to it all and just keep supplying more weapons to Ukraine knowing Russia will simply punish them harder
the humane thing to do here is call for peace talks and yet Americans have said on behalf of Ukraine they are not ready for peace talks
at least Russians are coming out in the open and fighting like men, cowards Americans fighting from behind poor Ukrainians civilians
As if Russia would actually want to face the US armed forces on ukrainian soil.
The russians are ruthless and because they are ruthless the ukrainians should surrender themselfs to the will of Russia .. that makes no sense at all.

Russians are actively looking specifically for Americans in Ukraine there is many
only way Americans go in is under disguise and poor one at that
and today they hit a mercenary base in Lviv and annihilated the base
Russian propaganda is becomming pathetic. People of all nationalities live in Ukraine, work as volunteers, drive in donations, enlist in the ukrainian armed forces. It has nothing to do with foreign armed forces, and russian controlled twitter bots using a few (ukrainian) clips with foreign speakers as evidence of just about anything is hilarious.
In Lviv the danish army must be present too, because a danish man running a IT company right next to your “mercenary base” got his office destroyed too.
