By this definition Ukraine is never going to win, because they would never advance into russian territory. No matter the russian propaganda narrative the ambition was to force Ukraine into submission. Now, the definition of a russian victory is blowing in the wind.
A russian victory would be if the West desides to postpone the inevitable direct conflict with Russia.
