'Time to say enough': FM Qureshi asks UNSC to issue call for an end to Israeli violence


"It is time to say enough. The voice of the Palestinian people cannot and will not be silenced. We, the representatives of the Islamic world, are here to speak with them and for them."

Qureshi said it was necessary to send medical teams, medicines, food and other supplies to Palestine. He called for an international force to be deployed for protection and for Israel to open all access points to Gaza so aid could reach the enclave.

"If the Security Council cannot agree to send the protection force, a coalition of the willing can be formed to provide at least civilian observers to monitor a cessation of hostilities and supervise the provision of humanitarian help to the Palestinians."

With due respect...First let's do something to improve our image
1.Muslims first need to learn to co-exist with other religions, (2 nation theory, Jews vs Islam, Christian s vs Islam, Hindu vs Islam) we have problem with everyone.
2.Be fair in their approach towards looking at the world (and not just glance at everything wearing a religion lens),
3. Stop playing victim and stop being hypocrite when it comes to human rights, freedom of speech when in minority while ignoring what they do to their minorities...stop preaching or crying about what they can't do.
4. Impart modern education to their children so that they can be accepted in the wider world rather than crying about discrimination in jobs etc. if you are capable, you will succeed.
5.Keep religion away from state..... and last
6. Rein in mullahs.......don't let them dissuade people citing religion

and then let's expect Hollywood to portray us in positive image.

Palestine is a internationally recognized dispute and Israel is in blatant violation of numerous UNSC resolutions, there is no equivalence. Pakistan knows americans use Human rights as a tool to beat its adversaries with, which is the reason Pakistan won't repeat your fake talking points about Uighur. Why under UN too? What did UN do to solve any major issue around the world? Before contemplating such action we need to move our cruise and Short range BMs close enough to Israel's border to assure them of total destruction, but only if they continue in their Nazi ways and don't sue for peace. Of course the Western world would provide material support to Israel and we need to ensure good supply lines from friendly nations to our forward positions. Consequently we would need to plan for disruption of those supply lines and a total war with Israel and it's allies including India. Are we being sucked into a war at a time not of our choosing and do we know what it is leading us to? Are our people prepared and resilient enough for sustained conflict with direct hit on the cities and the consequences considering war is a two way hit? Yes Pakistan alone does have the capability to demolish Israel but is it in our interest at this moment in time and has it been thought out carefully?

If ever there was a time this is the best time to crush Israel as it suffers from extreme internal disorder and at a time it has isolated itself by it's extremely bloody and violent persecution of the Palestinians. It seems the somber civilised world has finally woken up to Israeli atrocities and has said enough is enough. As the world watched in horror and people's stomach churned at Israeli criminal murderous behavior the cries of the Palestinian children were finally heard. Let us not be fooled by the Israeli peace for our time and allow further expansion by duplicitous Israeli talk.
