At 1200BHP it has the same power as the bugatti veyron super sport. But this car will most certainly be lighter. I really want to see this bad boy end up being on shows like top gear...

Top speed, at this hyper-car level, has to do with much more than just the claimed HP of an engine.

Yes, testable "real world" HP (RWHP) is very important, as is weight (power-to-weight ratio specifically), but also aerodynamics, the ability of parts to handle the heat generated, etc, etc.

I wish the team the best --- it looks like a mean beast and it's always great to see indigenous efforts coming out of the region.

Supercars are purchased by the rich as a modern day art. Iranian art and handcraftship is actually top tier. So if they are able to make a beautiful creation then I definitely think they've got a shot.
