1st indian movie, only one movie which became little bit popular in china and hong-kong only in east asia. hundrends of hong-kong movies are famous in whole world include india , sammo hung, jackie chan, jet li and stephen chow action+comedy

We dont have a good going film industry .... But if you want you can watch "Khuda k Liye" and recent "Bol"....

But our dramas they rock..... great entertainment.... I was watching "balqees kor" few days back... Just saw 1 episode but seems real good.

My dear chinese friends plz take my suggestion dont watch Indian movies. Im nt a big fan of indian movies but the reality is this, whenever i watch indian movie i always disapoint bcoz i used to see many Hollywood movies and believe me every single movie is a copy.

Indian film industry always fail to produce gud stories of their own bcoz they always copy ideas and even stories from hollywod thats such a shame

^ why is that a shame to you...mind your own business...Bollywood is a self-sustainaible industry and we don't need international money to make movies...and personally even though hollywood has fantastic ideas like Nazis invading earth from Moon or Jedis fighting with lightsabers it fails when it comes to direction in several of its movies...the direction for example of 3 idiots is way ahead that of avatar.

I agree several movies are either a copy or an official remake just like Hollywood inspires laregely from comic books and novels including Indian novels....Bollywood should also pick up stories from Novels and its ancient scriptures...what about a movie on chacha choudhary just like TINTIN... 3 idiots is also official adaptation of FIVE POINT SOMEONE by CHetan Bhagat...next in the line is 3 mistakes of my life....Omakara was based on Othello..while some movies like Kahaani are accidental copies where the last scene seemed to inspired by chance from an older Hollywood movie.

Recent Trend also suggests that more movie will be made on personalities like Indira Gandhi, Meena Kumari , Dev Ananda and not to forget remakes of old indian movies...Bollywood is surely following Hollywood's steps.

It is actually the other way around. 3 Idiots shows how corrupted and ego-based our education system is where students are taught only to mug up books for marks. It shows how inquisitive minds and enthusiastic youth that want to explore, discover and invent beyond the norms of books are suppressed and intimidated by the older generation's lack luster dodos who themselves failed at innovation.

And none of this is imaginary. Our current education system is still corrupted by old ego maniacs who have no concept of invention, innovation, research, freedom to question and explore further facts. It is because they fear that if the children question and discover reality, then the oldies' dominance will fade away and push way for a new era.

Unless the oldies of 2 generations before, ruling the educational law bodies and power bodies snuff it out, it would be very difficult to get new and relevant thinking in the minds and hearts of people.

This is ironic considering that during ancient India's times, our people were thousand times more liberal and encouraging towards inventions and discoveries of that time which led to flourishing of arts, culture, language and heritage, compared to the imperialistic and close-minded people of post-independence India.

not 1 or 2 many movies i dont remember as i am nt found of hindi movies.

i have used to watch some years ago but i only left watching these movies bcoz they r mostly copy of Hollywood movies

They change the hollywood movie to completely suit Indian needs, so much so that the original writers would not recognize it. Thats damn creative. Anyways the so called Hollywood inspired movies form only the minority.
