Yeah there are differences between civilian guns and the ones used by military and para miltary forces. While the guns you are talking about is Beretta Cx4 and what bsf has selected is Beretta Mx4 Storm. In US you can purchase any weapon but there is always a civilian version and a military version.

In US, full auto assault Rifles are banned for public.

^^^ I've heard it is because BSF were looking to replace their Mp-5s which are close to unservicable.

dude bsf don't use mp5 .they are replacing there 9mm sterling smg .

Yep they are unless they were made before 1986 plus the laws vary from state,say you can pretty much buy a .50 barett but in california arnie banned it hence barett started selling the .416 there.

For guys in US with gun permits there is some good news I am going to share recently a company got the rights to manufacture the Tavor in the US so in a few months the Tavor goes on sale.HOO-YAH!!!

Italian arms major Beretta has agreed to replace faulty weapons supplied by them after they failed at a BSF test fire facility in Gujarat recently.

end of story its only a particular consignment with defects so it is getting replaced any how its the lapse in QC so good thing is next time better not to repeat the same mistake
