I think you`re mistaking the naive US president`s dream of democracy in the middle east to Israel.
I, personally, prefer you guys under theocracy after what i saw in Egypt. I would totally high five your king right now.

and you come to say that israel doesn't want democracy around them
so i was logically thinking that you didn't like the critics about the words of the guy and you consider his group represents ideas of democracy

anyway ayatollah is a religious person. pls take a respect of our religion. i know you hate shias but don't show too much.

He can make any rules in the name of islam and muslims should follow it compulsory

Sometimes i think, how can someone give commands to millions of people unless he is the PM or president of the nation.....or are those millions of people sheeps with out brains who follow these fatwas without questioning the logic in this 21st century????

muslim must not folow fatwa, use logic. there are millions of scholars with different opinions and with their own version of islam. Best thing to do is to read the quran and hadits and you wont need a fatwa

No but he said in "Egypt" and only those that are "currently in Egypt" and yes those that follow him will attempt to do it.

anyway i don't understand why this kind of guy is not in jail. maybe because they don't want them to feel "martyrs"?

i remember during a trip to Egypt i saw israeli tourists @ Ras Sidr and Sharm-al-Sheikh.

i highly doubt that there would be many israelis in Egypt after the revolution that toppled Mr. Mubarak. In fact, i would imagine their politicians and security officials are sh*tting their pants, given that the recent revolutionary fervour also entailed that the people (and perhaps future leaderships) are not so friendly towards the israeli state

israel has found itself to be very isolated in the region, though it could be to their own benefit.....it would entail that despite fiscal problems at home in the US, israel would still be eligible for handsome cash donations to be used for internal and external security.

by the way, a good number of israelis who visit Egypt are good at learning and speaking the local Egyptian (colloquial) dialect. so tracking them down individually would take some time. . .i think it would be in their interests to vacate the country immediately and not wait for that to happen!

by the way, the israeli air strike which killed several Egyptian police officers and border guards was israel stabbing itself in the foot --as far as bilateral relations go

That`s interesting since Egypt admitted that their own released prisoners were part of the terror squad that attacked Israel on that day.
With or without their border police dying, it was clear that after Mubarak there would be an anti-Israel regime.

When you give a "Democracy" to people that were brought up to associate the word Israel with the word "Devil", it is hardly unexpected.

No, but i`m confident they know what will happen if Israeli diplomats were to be killed.
The Egyptian government is already in talks about relocating the embassy to a place that would make it a much harder target.
