don't talk nonsense about things you don't know this statue was worn over time not broken purposely at all and is a source of tourism and income there are loads of buddhist carvings and statues in swat that are completely fine your probably confused by the news there was another statue in swat a different the taliban tried to destroy one that had feet which they miserably failed at it's still left completely intact .
