Actually this is not that much easy, Indian pilots are not qualified to fly F-16.

MKI is great for long range escort missions and partly good for strike while F-16 Blk 52 is great for both roles but we cant have it as owr prime opponent also have the same and it will be a nighmare for us in case of a war even with best IFF systems + since we have to keep owr bulk at dsitance from the border twin engined jets are mandatorry for that purpose hense the Mig29s & MKIs ...... cheers mate
