F-16IN replace Tejas Mk 2?

Rather than build an American engined powered light fighter that operational only after 2020, why not buy F-16IN from the US?

why not just buy JF-17 blk 3 with DSI, Super AESA radar, enclosed weapons pod and SD-10A and carrier killing super sonic cruise missile

Yup speaks a Pakistani air force expert. It's a plane built in 1974 which has achieved the height of technology it can.

You can't achieve that prefection even in the next 50 years....on your own.. A plane first built 80s... in service with NATO and dozens of other countries ... And sold in thousands ... Speaks for itself... Vs a jet conceived in 84 n still under development...

Tejas mk2 is still in conceptual stages.. Heck even mk-1 will be inducted after 2017..

As of now JF-17 block I is superior to under development tejas mk1.. Meanwhile specs of Jf-17 block II aren't in service as of now... Kinda stupid to compare them don't you think.. Or is it your biasness at work?
As for mirage 2000-5 vs block I .. Don't know but it's superior to gripen as we speak..(no not talkin about NG)

Oh he is comparing a hypersonic tejas with supersonic jf 17 and tejas according to papers have min speed of 5 mach and can carry external load of 60000 lb

Different countries have different needs buddy. If China doesn't want JF-17 because of its supposedly inferiority, it wouldn't waste it's time making RD-93 and JF-17s at CAC

JF-17 is poorly funded Project and lack cluster one ,

No Trainer variant
Original Block - 1 Updates pushed to Block-II
Chinese Radar
WS-13 Engine no were to be found
RD-93 Engine not used by Chinese on other fighters so Totally depended on Russia
No Aesa radar in Block-II
No Indication that has Cleared FOC or even IOC , shows its way behind in Operational capability .
Only Chinese BVR , No Access to Russian BVR missiles yet.
