Exclusive: U.S. moves to cut Huawei off from global chip suppliers

More pressure please. Chinese people needs a kick once in a while to stop complacency.
The focus on semiconductors and jet engines should have been in place years ago, the PRC was too complacent.
Too many years of fcukers travelling from the PRC and spending vast sums while on holiday in foreign countries who take the money and talk shit about Chinese people behind their backs. Sadly, still a lot of dumb *** PRC people still haven't learnt this.

This will be interesting to see how it turns out.
I think both countries will change how they rely on each other.

As for Huawei, their biggest problem is their ties to the CCP. True or not, that is the perception.

If they can't convince people they have no ties (almost impossible due to how business is done in China) they will loose all access to the developed western market where the most money is made.

Doesn't matter what Huawei's ties to China's govt is. If it is a PRC based company having the potential for global dominance, it will be targeted.

Look at Tik Tok, it's a stupid app used by teens who act like morons, and the US govt. is already starting an inquiry. It is basically the McCarthy period all over again, just a combination of intense paranoia, angst and insecurity over the perceived rise of a challenger.

Poeple with normal intelligence know Huawei ban has nothing to do with information safety. Only stupid people buy America propaganda. Huawei has ties to Chinese government. What about American companies? Don't they have ties with American government? If they are free from American government, why they follow Huawei ban?

Everything comes down to POWER.

The majority of the populace are low IQ so that is what propaganda is for.

Pressure/strangle too much will kill them. They need some brake to breathe.

I've met so many Mainland Chinese nouveau riche from the past few years who literally worshiped White people, no matter how shitty they were as individuals. At the same time, they were racist against Blacks and other non-Whites. I think they are getting a reality check now. Ironically many of the "Chinese American" support for Trump actually came from newer Mainland Chinese immigrants who are clueless about the social dynamics of American society. I hope those morons are getting a good dose of reality now that they are being persecuted.

I actually think it does matter.
The reason Huawei is having these problems is because it's founder was a Chinese government spy but more importantly, China has a law that says that if the CCP wants information from any companies, they have to give it up.

You will never get a situation like Apple VS FBI in China.

As for global dominance....they can still do it, all they have to do is develop their own chip technology and convince the rest of the world to use their OS in stead of Android.

It is unlikely tho since you know.... customers now have the perception of government links and all that.
Besides, Android is hard to replace.

As for Tik Tok, is it paranoia when this happened?

You can't claim paranoia when the accusation are true.

This I agree, we need to learn from US sophistication. I think it's more about commie bashing rather than US doing it behind the curtains. US controls the propaganda machine in the West, they will believe whatever shit spewed out. There is a deep state within US dictating what to broadcast. Trump is actually the real hero of you ask me. The elites and deep state is quite OK doing business with China despite all the 'anti China' bashing.

Do you know the reason the US is so good at it?

The US does now throw a hissy fit and cry when people people say bad things about them.
They do not get police involved when people criticize them
They do not have a strong reaction when someone says something they don't like.

They instead work their magic behind the scene.

China on the other hand..... oh boy.

We can go on for days on how much a baby reaction they have to just about everything.

The outside world sees that.

You have no idea how much banning Winnie the poo hurt China's image around the world and signaled to the world how insecure China is.

I really do hope China learns from the US, get rid of the great firewall, allow people free speech, and stop trying to control every aspect of people's life.
Once that happens, they too can manipulate things behind the scenes.

And they need to repatriate the wealth they have in the US and other pro-Washington Western countries. A total recall of investments. I was saying Chinese need to sell their worthless US investments at the top in 2018-2019. This bioweapon attack by the US has caused liquidity and money flow issues with their economies and Chinese investments are not worth as much as before.

Treasuries have increased in value. However, they should have been dumped earlier.

China should say they are planning to fund the WHO fully. And how they will fund the WHO is by selling over 1T in US treasuries and pocketing the rest.

meh no point going into a long winded response. No it doesn’t matter. Propaganda is often manufactured to justify the ends. You are buying too much into sensationalistic news. At the end of the day, it is power and control that matters to the elite, image control is a tool to justify actions to the masses.
