Exclusive: PAF Airchief Visits Rafale & M2k Units

Our pilots have never flown, touched or seen Rafael.

Infact they close their eyes when they sit inside and take it out for a ride.

This story is confirmed by multiple Pakistani pilots who have been flying Rafael and training Qatari pilots with their eyes closed .
what they don't even do a sly peekaboo ?

Qatar have a small airforce, talk of Mirage 2000 purchase is being too optimistic
The 5-6 Mirage2000 won't make a difference

We have JF17 Block III coming up, we don't need this platform

Name which modern plane PAF has not evaluated and rejected....EF/J10/Grippen/M2K.....almost all...PAF has been preoccupied with AF SOLA

And even now, F-16 is an amazing plane. F-16A MLU was more than a match for Su-30MKI decked with most modern avionics.

The F-16V is equipped with F-35 AESA radar. So it will still compete with new generation planes and in skilled hands, will beat the hell out of them.

So please dont be disrespectful to F-16.

But then again there is no air chief here going up for a joy ride. :D

F16 is a great plane all the time I hope we will get more of them used and new

with mirages problem is the baggage that comes along with it of weapons and supplies that would be a waste of money. Better to invest that money either in F 16 block 60 & above or JFT B III

the solution is LCA...but it seems even the Indians can’t get their hands on them lol

yes ... my bad

LCA their fifth generation wonder jet blessed by hendoo gods that will sweep the sky like the india toilets cleaners here sweep ....

:)

Three possible scenarios
1. Evaluation to acquire M2K
2. Planned visit to develop tactics against Rafale.
3. To apply Choona on Indians

Atleast 3rd one is confirmed.
All three are in works inshaAllah

The block III will take time due to production so we do need M2K to fill the time gap. PAF will not get 5-6 jets, it will have two to three squadrons from multiple sources inshaAllah.

It's educated guess or info

Do they have same Rafales like that of Indians?
The threat spectrum of EW SPECTRA will be different for each country. It will be interesting to see IAF using Link-16 for Rafale as tactical Data Link.

This what Dassault website says:

Also instrumental in SPECTRA’s performance is a threat library that can be easily defined, integrated and updated on short notice by users in their own country, and in full autonomy.

French Air force have alot of M2K in stock and Airforce still flies them spare parts are not issue weapon package is not issue as well French helping Pak JF17 engine enhancement So they already in again.

You have Thunders coming armed with C802s then why need for M2Ks?

We need air frames and the Mirages have decent amount of life left in them. Maybe PAF pilots already fly them so it can be a hot transfer of the entire Qatari mirage fleet, once the Rafale’s are fully inducted.

It's good replacement of Haider Sqdn at Masroor base for maritime.

Definitely. F-16s at Jacobabad are too far away to be diverted for long range strikes, especially over the sea. Any indication F-16s are based at Bholari?

If US doesn't release used F16s then these planes are good option for our Mirage fleet replacement French Airforce has hundreds of them stored 3 - 4 Sqd won't be a problem or UAE and Qatar Mirages still a very potent platform under a good pilot.
