Exclusive: INS Kolkata readies to test fire top of the range air defence missile

Where I mentioned quantity ?
Being 88% does not mean its fully C++.

88% C family software usage IS significant, against your narration of "some"

"some" here would be ADA which just has 5% usage.

Here is my post.

Which fighter uses 100% C++ or 100% ADA?
If none, then why use the term "fully"

So why the following:
Some, means F-35 (In not fully)

If yes, tell me which fighter does that.

JF-17

There is no aircraft which uses 100% high level programming language. Because it must ALSO use low level language, machine language or assembly language for a CPU to read, understand. A compiler does it. Each processor has its own unique machine language.

Barak 8 with 80-100km range and barak ER with 150 km range is an awesome addition and gives much needed teeth to our ships. It's ability to intercept at 500m implies its well within the range of CIWS also and outer range does provide us with handsome coverage. There has been some talks that barak 8 may be a 4 or 8 cell config and barak 8 ER may b 3 or 6 cell config. Interestingly we may continue to use barak original also but lower in numbers.

Strangely two points are being put forward by some analysts.
  1. The space available in Indian warships which can get future additional upgrades and new weapon packages installed
  2. My own sources say Russians had impressed DM MP about 48N series Missile of S400 Sam being installed in Russia ships which gives a 250 km envelope in small/medium size boats under construction (probably armed with kalibr CM). This news came out with an interview with local Russian news where 48N series naval version installation details were given for refitting Nakhimov battle cruisers.

Got some more info on Nakhimov modernisation from tender published and carried by blog Модернизация "Нахимова". Закупки. Часть 6: зенитно-ракетный комплекс 3М-48 «Форт-М» - alexeyvvo

Modernization of "Nakhimov". Purchases. Part 6: anti-missile system 3M-48 "Fort-M"

“Thus, in the course of the modernization of the cruiser "Admiral Nakhimov" Both SAM "Fort" will be further developed to the level of SAM "Fort-M" (which currently exists in a single copy in the form of a nasal installation "Peter the Great"), the turret launchers B-203A will probably have to be made for the possibility of work using new types of missiles. Among the types of missiles that will be used in the "new" SAM how to use even the first two cruisers Project 1144/11442 5V5RM and entered service "Nakhimov" (then - "Kalinin") 48N6K and naval version from the foundation of SAM With -400 - 48N6DMK with an active radar seeker and a range of up to 250 km.
So Naval SAM of S-400 series are part of its modernisation and importantly the 48N6DMK with range of 250 km has got Active radar seeker.

The 48N6 series are part of S-400 series and as discuseed in missile dhaga it got 250 km range and SAGG guidance but now it seems they have moved to full ARH type.

So eventually we can expect all the missile of S-400 series will have ARH guidance , makes sense as at those long ranges the radar channel can be used to guide other missile and LOS is now less of issue
+++++++

Don't be surprised if eventually India may get additional layer around the ships via 48N series and get extended range coverage upto 250 km via a couple dedicated ships across each CBG.

Space is available surely.. Can get at least 4 such long range ones done in present ships

Since when C++ language considered upper level language then ADA (millions of C & C++ college going youth know to code )
ADA is standardized for military used.

ADA & C++ are BOTH high level programming languages.

The first high-level programming languages were designed in the 1950s. Now there are dozens of different languages, including Ada, Algol, BASIC, COBOL, C, C++, FORTRAN, LISP, Pascal, and Prolog.

What is High-Level Language? A Webopedia Definition

But C++ is more commonly used along with many later developer wants to uniformity in military system, so they developed ADA language (You can't find ADA coder commonly like others)

This is not the point we were discussing.
