Do you know every other upper middle class person in Pakistan has billions of rupees now so Rs. 1.3 billion or 130 Crore rupees which Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has is from the inherited family wealth from Khaqan Abbasi and doesn't seem far fetched. It is ironically much less than the value of Bani Gala Residence of our international renowned fast bowler. Like I previously said the election is over and we are all answerable to Allah for the lies that we intentionally spread.



When a country has behind-the-screen warriors like yourself belittling own prime minister on an international public forum do we really need help from our enemies? For the record as stated in Miftah Ismail's article in the OP, he took off his belt to go through the scanner and not strip searched as according to the lies that had been spreading around.

I don't know other PM to have gone through this and frankly nor do I care. I being a Pakistani feel proud when our PM (ex now) decides to act like a common man just like Imran Khan is trying to do by not taking protocol.

Instead of writing that much long Qaseeda, It would have been more effective to post details of PM's expenditures during his tenure and his predecessor's. Facts would have talked themselves and would have set bench mark for up coming PMs.

Only Mr. Junejo tried to implement austerity in true spirit, he eliminated (not just banned) the provisions of importing expensive cars for ministers, generals, judges and bureaucrats and asked them to do use Suzuki FX, tried to reform the system and eliminate corruption, but he was sacked as he became threat to interests of all. IK will meet same fate if he follows his footsteps.

What he is trying to say is that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is son of Khaqan Abbasi who was Air Vice Marshal from Ayub Khan's era and was a parliamentarian in the 70's. But he was also a big landlord in Murree. During Ayub Khan's era lot of people were suspected to have earned beyond means including his own son Gohar Ayub. But all this is a discussion for another thread. I know Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is a simple yet intelligent person. IMHO he is honest too.
