Well that has nothing to do with religion..!!! And some religious fanatics like al-quaida are utilising and converting it into a religious war..!!

That is where a muslim has to think moderate and realise it as the imperliastic intentions and bad decisions of Mr. George Bush. I crticise the iraq war, but never ever had i thought it as a war against muslims, cause the dead in iraq all had muslims and christian minority in that country.

And they do show this news as major headlines in the news channels on TV, but such headlines are shown only when there is an advertisement going on and people are watching that advertisement.

That too the entire statistic has the word of a Christian activist backing it, as if he won't lie to garner some sympathy.

You need to realize that when Bush conveyed his intentions about waging a mass crusade against a certain religion and people he really meant it that way. It's no coincidence or slip of tongue as some people like to believe. Certainly, we cannot deny that this so-called WoT has a religious dimension to it. In fact, the war is driven and based on a twisted religious ideology. This aggression is indeed aimed towards the majority Muslims. Whether coloured minority Christians are caught up in it is of no relevance I'm afraid.

Nevertheless, when you consider it a bit more deeply, it's possible the numbers may be correct. Think of Timor, Sudan, Somalia, Gaza, Nigeria, Iraq: all these countries have known issues with Muslims afflicting minorities. I would like to know what the methodology was in this calculation - that's the question that should have been asked.

As for everyone else: have you considered that your prejudices may rule your minds, not facts and reason?

What about a million plus muslims killed in iraq during the occupation by a christian army---and 250000 afghans killed in afg by the same christian army---that doesn't count to much now does it.

The west and christians are so rascists and controlling of news---that you hear or read nothing about spain---after Isabella and Ferdinand took spain from muslims---you only listen to about the sob story of jews being killed---a small minority----but there is absolutely no mention of million of muslims majority executed by the catholic church in spain---that within 25 years time period---there was hardly a muslim left alive in spain.

The killingas of muslims in israeli occupied territories goes on and israelis kill muslims because of the thrill factor now----it gives them pleasure to take the life of a muslim in those territories---makes them heroes in front of their buddies and gives them a new kind of thrill.

Since he's at The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute now to present his statistics, I guess we can't expect him to respond to questions about his methodology until after the Conference.
